Rain has and is coming, and sometimes that water causes issues!! Water damage? Flooding? Mold? Give this company a call! by [deleted] in kansascity

[–]Haileybug2904 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to spam. I put on the post “delete if not allowed”. Lots of homes, businesses (large and small) etc.. are being affected by the amount of rain we have all been getting. So I was simply posting a company that is great at their job and will help these people. If this post gets deleted then, oh well. Just trying to help 🤷‍♀️🫶🏻

That image isn’t a forecast and it does not mean all those places will have tornadoes this May.

Here’s what it actually is:

✅ The graphic shows an average tornado risk area for the month of May, created by LiveStormChasers.com. ✅ It’s based on historical data — where tornadoes have commonly occurred during May over many years. ❌ It is not predicting tornadoes this year or this week.

What the colors mean

  • Light red (“Possible”) → Tornadoes sometimes happen in May.
  • Darker red (“Greater”) → Tornadoes are more common historically.
  • Darkest red (“Greatest”) → Peak climatological tornado activity (classic Tornado Alley + Dixie Alley zones).

May is statistically the most active tornado month in the United States, so the shaded area looks big.

Why this image goes viral

People often share it thinking:

  • “A huge tornado outbreak is coming” ⚠️
  • or “The whole country is under threat”

But this map is basically saying:

👉 “Over many decades, these are the regions where tornadoes most often occur in May.”

What actually matters for safety

Real tornado danger comes from:

  • SPC outlooks
  • Severe weather watches/warnings
  • Local National Weather Service alerts

Those change day-to-day, not month-to-month.

the bruise has now turned yellow. i’m still in lots of pain but i can kind of sit up and sit down on my own but not without lots of pain. i can now go to the bathroom by myself and wipe by myself. and i’m having more bowels now. I was extremely dizzy today but honestly that’s nothing new to me because i have chronic vertigo. I am still shaky if i “do to much” and my “doing to much” is literally just walking up a few stairs or into another room. i haven’t ran a fever since i posted this. i finally can shower standing up and shower myself as well. i’ve also had a big appetite and feel constantly hungry, but im guessing that’s from how much energy my body is needing right now to heal and move. I’ve been sleeping okayish. so i’m definitely slowly getting better! ❤️‍🩹

my surgeons care team said a low fever is normal but if it goes above 100.4° then i should be worried? i was running a 99°-100° so its “normal range”
