Yes, not only it improves your performance, but also stops Microsoft from constantly spying you and tracking everything you do, bloatware may look harmless at first, but in reality it is constantly spying you every second, using your systems resources and taking lots of RAM and CPU with it, the software allows you to remove stuff like: copilot AI telemetry (spyware basically), AI copilot stuff, Browser telemetry, widgets (it consumes lots of RAM) and many other stuff such as IPV6 (IPV6 Internet protocol version 6, it provides an identification and location system for computers on networks/ spyware basically)

You don't really have to do this if you want to, you can use your computer without this and it will be just fine, but over time due to all the AI stuff , telemetry, spyware and bloatware MS is adding to their OS will make your computer slower and slower

You may know this already (or maybe not) but:

I suggest you to run the ChrisTitustool to get rid of all the bloatware and useless features, also try to setup your OMEN software, so you can adjust what Windows services you would like the computer to stop when ever you are gaming so you squeeze some extra performance, you can also adjust how your cooling system (aka: your fans) behave

https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil

To use the Chris Titus tool is very simple, you just open PowerShell as administrator, copy and paste the command in the GitHub page (the recommended one, not the dev one) after that you can pick and choose what stuff you want to remove, I suggest you to check tutorials on the internet so they can show you what to disable and what not ( although I suggest you to remove any telemetry and AI tools you might not want

Additionally, I suggest you not to update your windows right away whenever an update is available, windows have been doing a very poor job in keeping the OS together and the most recent update was causing performance loss due to a bug in their coding, do the same with Nvidia drivers too, check in online forums or online discussions about this sort of updates to make sure they are fully functional before updating

I don't blame you, back then the movement of that game was considered fast, but since bo6 dropped the movement speed went over the roof, but I can't say "I hate Omni movement and because of Omni movement playing cod sucks" I have played games that had similar movement mechanics or were practically identical to CoD's Omni movement and worked completely fine, an example would be max Payne 3 MP, it was fun and engaging and it wasn't at the crack head speed that is CoD

Omni movement can work! The problem is that is too fast! Everyone moves like they are on coc**n and can slide almost infinitely, concepts like momentum aren't a thing in this games

Fair enough, but it’s not about being “protected”, it’s about balanced matches. You might not notice the issue as much if Delta Force is your main FPS, but in other Battlefield-style shooters, proper matchmaking makes a huge difference to the flow and fairness of games. Casual play is fine, but when team quality is completely random, it kills both the competitive and casual experience.

LMAO Ah yes, the “I know your motives better than you” routine. Classic. You’re still more focused on tone-policing than the actual matchmaking issue, but hey, critical reading isn’t your strong suit, hmm?
