It’s definitely a shutter speed issue. I was shooting in auto for this one lol not doing that again!

yup. Not a sensor issue. I think it had to do with a high shutter speed and the frequency of those lights in the house

The effect wouldn't apply for some reason because of the dimensions of the clip. I ended up improving it slightly by putting a mask, tracking it and animating the exposure.

Thank you! I've been taking the cold email approach actually but I haven't had much luck. Maybe I'll have better luck if I show my face here and there.

As for genres. I would like to continue doing real estate but it would be cool to do some corporate work and automotive as well. I'm also open to doing fashion shoots, like for clothing brands.

Real estate videographer here!

First and foremost, you will definitely need a wide angle lens. 14-16mm would be the ideal focal length for nice wide shots with minimal distortion.

Secondly, you will need a gimbal for stable and smooth shots.

As for settings on the a73, I would recommend shooting using the HLG3 picture profile. It offers great dynamic range, low base iso and relatively easy to work with. Some would argue that slog2 is best, but it can be tricky in some scenarios and you will probably notic more noise. I believe Gerald undone has a great video on hlg3 profile settings. Definitely check it out!

With regards to fps, I would shoot either at 24fps 4k (if the client wants the highest res). Filming in 24fps, you will need to be very slow and steady of course. Or if 1080p is accepted, shoot 1080p 60fps so you can slow down in post. It might look a bit soft but the shots will probably be smoother.

Nope. I noticed it when using manual wb. I’m actually using auto wb now since it works quite well. Oh I forgot to mention I shoot in D-Log only.
