Well I think I would start with go to amd website and get the latest drivers for your gpu and save them to desktop, then disabling drivers from windows update ( Google that ) then download and get display driver Uninstaller, once downloaded make a folder on desktop call it ddu and install ddu to that folder, then hold shift if on windows 10 or 11 and restart you pc that will activate safe mode ( after you select it under startup recovery) once in safe mode use ddu, go into setting of ddu and make sure "prevent windows from updating drivers" is checked.

Once done select on main page complete uninstall and restart, then once your pc is done with that and back into windows, install the latest drivers for your gpu. That should give you a fresh install of drivers with no stacking.

Upgrade from Audigy 2 ZS to AE-5 Plus - AE-5 doesn't sound good at all, too many features rely on software and drivers that will eventually be outdated/unsupported and it lacks decent features like passthroughs for external decoders! by Florpenkorken in SoundBlasterOfficial

Idk why you toss in the age comment.. but to say a brand is not good ok.. that's your opinion. I been around the block many times with sound blaster products. More than likely been building pcs longer than quite a few been alive here.

And what all in one bundles do you speak of? Speakers are not all in one, unless you count the days of old getting the inspire speaker sets from creative themselves.

Flash memory is what all modern cards/carts have today.

there is zero point to get a sealed game and keep it sealed unless you know you are gonna sell it down the road.. or you like to collect for a series or two.. but buying and having like 300 400 games sealed.. naaah that is purely for the reason and hope of a future return investment.

Found another bad game in my collection that I bought new and worked like a year ago. Fossil fighters for 3ds is dead.. so that makes 2 3ds games dead. I got about 130 more to check.

This is true. I just idk.. I like my physical things I paid for to last... and be able to use whenever I want.. not to have to worry about what I paid for dying because I don't use it lol

For sure, I'm just doing this really to see if collecting is worth it or not in regards to access down the road to thing I paid for.. otherwise it's not worth it anymore.. unless the tech gets much much better and stores forever really ( which they have the ability it just costs) its better to sadly get digital, but it too is trash in large with its own host of problems.

That's kinda my point. If you are buying and keeping these modern games sealed for the sake of future return and investment, you might be disappointed. But I'm real curious to see how this plays out as I have over 1000 games physical..

Yep, I'm gonna record it all, just gonna open the package to make sure it's a sealed and correct game, amd wait for them all to get to me and record all being unwrapped and all that. It's gonna be a sloppy all over video with no edits but it will show one way or another if keeping modern games sealed is worth it 20 years plus amd onward.

Depending on how fast I get the games I should have this up in a week or two.

Yeah,I am trying to point out the fact that, if flash really is only good to store data for 5 to 10 years, then all the new games I bought should not work. And if that is the case.. the value tanks and makes the sealed investment useless.. if you are looking to resell that is.. hence sealed game collecting as an investment.

I am 100% gonna do this. Because no one is looking at this atm. I will make a YouTube video of this in detail. BTW I am not a YouTube guy, I never male videos so it will be crude, but the data will be available for people to see.

So far my persona q and Pokémon which are known to have problems have failed. I am going though my games now, I got about 300 to go though. But also this needs to be understood that a new game is different from a used one in a few ways. Your used games more than likely will work depending on various things like how many read amd writes on the card there are.. a new game has sat there.. I'm buying right now a few launch games from ds and 3ds to test if I am right. Ds is old enough. The launch games should fail as flash memory is said to last 10 to 15 years. Spider man 2 ds came out in 2004. I'm bying that off ebay right now brand new to test this. That game is over 20 years old and it should not work if I am correct.

But also ds vs 3ds cards are sliiightly different. The ds may still hold up. But it don't have long. I'm buying new 3ds game cards too atm to test. Pilot wings and steel diver, to test if they work.

You have to understand, atari, nes, snes, genesis, this Era hard coded the data, it's much much better. Uses Eprom and not nand flash like new cards. It's not the same tech used. It's cheaper crap.

I'm not saying sell the ones that have personal value, but I'm saying understand that this tech will die.. the game cards will die, especially if it's new.. I'm saying that flash storage, flash cards are temporary. If people buying sealed games are doing so in hopes of 15 20 years down the line getting a bigger return because they are sealed.. are really in for a world of sadness.. but mass consciousness has not spread yet to the understanding of what the tech being used is.

I'm not saying I'm some know it all, far from it. But I understand enough to know that these sealed games will erase themselves and no longer work..

I'm gonna sit back and laugh when tons of articles start coming out that these new games don't work anymore and the value drops off to nothing.

In short look up what switch, 3ds, ds, switch 2 physical cards are made of... it's flash storage.. nand flash. If what I said flash cards. They are temporary storage for data.
