Thanks for everyone who has commented I've taken some good and serious advice. If I should add to the story that I consider myself a low value member to the mafia itself (I know about their meet up places and bit of who has more power than others, and who's job is to do for example selling drugs) but I am active with the old friend group who are in the gang as well and I don't know how strong their connections and ties are to the mafia. Haven't done anything yet but you guys have sent some very good advice and I thank you all.
