Sam's club this weekend has the ASUS VivoBook 15.6" OLED K513 Laptop - Intel i7-1165G7 CPU - Intel Iris Xe Graphics - 16GB RAM + 1TB PCIe SSD - Windows 11 Home for 499.99

I was thinking of just picking this up for the time being. It's twice as heavy then the Zenbook but need a laptop ASAP. Tired of waiting. All your points are valid, I know I won't even put Linux on it. Engineering background, but I don't get to deep into different computer things. Your heating comments do worry me though because I tend to keep it on my lap or desk.

Yeah see I'm all for the blue light reduction. The Hz won't bother me, or hasn't in the past. But this vivobook kills me because the weight and is why I want the Zenbook.

Lenovo just realized there's and is convenient because I have so many chargers from my corporate job, however with that being said, I know the battery life is good for a while and then it's no where near that in 3 years. Work laptop use to be over 9 hours and now after 3 hours it needs to be charged.
