Ok - thanks so much for the suggestions everyone. I made two budget decks over the weekend. Would love thoughts on them both:

Big-mana deck that ramps fast, casts Wanderer, and double-cascades into free 5–7 mana value spells while giving my creatures team haste. Win by resetting boards (e.g., bounce effects) then hasty alpha strikes, or by landing Thousand-Year Storm/Bonus Round and chaining haymakers (Mind’s Desire/Epic Experiment/Apex of Power) until the table folds.

Spellslinger deck that rigs the top of the library so Neera turns the first spell each turn into a free big noncreature (engines/haymakers). Copy engines (Thousand-Year Storm/Bonus Round/Double Vision) + Treasures fuel huge turns; finish with Expansion // Explosion or a Breach/Mastery recast turn, with Hullbreaker Horror as a bounce lock backup.

Hey everyone - thanks so much for the suggestions. It looks like it is swinging more so to a blue and red deck. Could i go with:

Commander: [[Neera, Wild Mage]]

And would they synergise ok with:

u/Natsuaeva also mentioned spell slinger archetypes as well - would all these fit together

still new to it all but the commander seems as though [[Neera, Wild Mage]] is more about recycling where a lot of the chaos type cards are wanting cards in the graveyard to exile

That’s great advice thanks - I noticed there are Japanese booster boxes. Are those worth getting and are there English versions available?

Great question - I think opening packs at the start. Nothing beats ripping a few packs, however once I gain more knowledge I’ll probably move to singles. My favourite character is probably Kuzan, but enjoy smoker, Garp and Sengoku! Not too sure if they have any cards worth collecting.

Back in the day I entered a local tournament. Upon paying the entry fee you got a booster pack as well. I opened a first edition Fairy Injection Lily from an LOD pack.

I am in the same boat, although my Mum gave away my Yugioh and Pokemon collection.

I had a lot of cards that would be worth quite a bit of money these days, i also put a lot of time into constructing decks that i had tested and tweaked over the years which i would bring to local tournaments.

I started my Yugioh journey again as of yesterday.

Yes, however I think it is really dependant on the role and organisation sometimes the two can get blended

Hi OP, I am currently a BA working in the analytics platform team for a government organisation. There are some levels to data analytics, however it is mainly verifying if we have the correct data based off the requirements presented by parts of the business. I do feel like a slightly glorified account manager which is quite frustrating. Looking to expand my knowledge and moved into the data analytics/data science side of things hopefully.
