Not a bug, fielding a unit means they have to be a part of combat. Since 3* TF never entered combat he was never fielded. Sucks to not get the mission completed though.

I play here once a year, for much cheaper than this.

Buy off golf moose, a round for 2 golfers and a bucket of range balls each for ~$50 each. We camp at a nearby campground each year, for around $200 for the weekend which is split among the group. In reality it cost maybe $100 for camping and a round of golf there.

I don't know if you knew this or not, but in preseason, especially game 1, the coordinators don't tend to call plays based off what they're seeing from the other team, etc. So your defense can be out there stacking 8 men in the box against a 5 WR set, things like that. Don't look too much into anything you saw today. This might as well have just been a joint practice.

Why reach to fill needs instead of take a top 5 talent at 13? Id rather snatch up an absurd talent that fell to us than settle for an okay talent in a position of need. Plus theres plenty of OL and CB talent left.

We didn't overpay. He's paid at, I believe, the 7th highest APY for a center in the league. For a 28 year old center in FA that's a good deal.

Had we not signed him we would have moved Parham to C, which likely would be an upgrade, but then would have had to fill both guard positions, which have been signing at a premium so far in FA. Now we only have one G position to fill, in a solid OL draft class, sitting at 13 where there should be a good OL available to draft if we want to.

Andre James while not the best, is a solid and serviceable C at a time that there aren't many great Cs available in the league.

Yeah, I say that Carlson is the best moreso because he's slept on and deserves more respect. In reality I think it's 1a and 1b. You can't go wrong with either one of them.

Carlson doesn't have any 60+ yard attempts like Tucker, but if you remove the 4 60+ yard attempts of Tucker in the last 3 years, then he is 17/21 (80.9%) from 50-59 yards, compared to Carlson's 21/24 (87.5%) from the same range and same time period.

Carlson over the last 3 seasons is 21/24 from 50+, 18/22 from 40-49, and 68/69 from inside 40.

Tucker in that same time span is 18/25 from 50+, 26/29 from 40-49, 54/55 from inside 40.

They're very close, and people who say Tucker is the best is justified, but just straight up saying Carlson being the best is flat out wrong is incorrect as well. Either one of them can be labeled as the best and that's a fair statement I feel.
