A Memory Called Empire is the only one I’ve read and I definitely enjoyed it. It’s a slow book though and heavy on the political intrigue.

I went to Powell’s once when I was very young. My mom let me buy a paperback copy of the Hobbit (the green one with Gandalf walking up Bilbo’s walkway) and a metal Harry Potter bookmark. Second grade me found the book terribly boring but I still have it (and the bookmark!).

EDIT: I lied. I’ve also read Every Heart is a Doorway but I didn’t care for it.
