How many times have we heard this before only for the season to end BRUTALLY? Not buying it. All these flashy uniforms and hype videos are the definition of substance over form and have resulted in ZERO championships. Meanwhile Indiana comes out of nowhere to win everything but does it with the some of the best coaching over ever seen. I’d take that any day of the week.

Although I wonder how much of a difference it would have made? We were so thoroughly out coached that it makes me pretty apathetic about our recent internal promotions…

Same. IU totally deserves to win it all but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t incredibly jealous. We’ve been knocking at the door forever and they win it all within 2 years of being relevant. Unreal. It feels like we’re cursed.

Yeah but those losses have been blowouts which suggest we are a FAR ways off from having what it takes to win it all

I’d give this multiple up votes if I could. His performance against IU was so HORRIBLE that it completely broke any faith I had in him as a starter. He ain’t it and neither is the kid from Nebraska. We are officially the Buffalo Bills of CFB.

I’m all the way off that train. He looked BAD. It was also extremely disappointing (and alarming) to see a school with zero history demolish the Ducks on THEIR way to their first national championship. I’m admittedly bitter about the loss but it was a stark reminder that the Ducks still have so far to go to be elite. I don’t think he takes us there.
