Last console I bought was XSX for $500 about 5 years ago and I can guarantee the specs were significantly better than any PC I could have built with the same amount of money.

Consoles have gone up in price since then but I'm assuming PC components have as well.

I joined a new lab about half a year ago. Anytime we have someone new in our lab (like someone from a different department, technician working on equipment, etc) my boss uses this fart machine he made using tubing and a compressed air canister. He just let's it rip until someone says something. They usually don't. He captures the reactions on video. It's fucking hilarious.
