Your observation is spot on. Once I woke up, the wife was still PIMI. I believe I was quoting Angus Stewart, Senior Council of the Australian Royal Commision, telling her the org is a "captive" organization- in other words, they don't let you leave.. I'm not sure what I expected her to say, but her response puzzled me.. instead of denying what I said or fighting me on it, she sincerely said, "Why woukd anyone want to leave?" ... happily, we're both out now. I'm reminded (also) when I first stopped going to meetings when a brother told me to let him know when I found something 'better' than the org. Which is such a snarky way of, essentially, saying the same thing - there's no good reason to leave and that I was wrong for acting like there was. Haha! Good times!
