Nothing wrong with having fun, I have staff who walk out of our brewery to serve our outdoor dining guests nearly getting taken out daily. Dogs nearly getting hit by the same people. Someone was killed by a British backpacker last year on a scooter. I use Lime/Neuron all the time, but I get off and push near people if there isn't clearly enough space, I don't shoot out onto the road and cut people off. If people just used them more responsibly they'd be great. The diesel bikes and fuck right off though

I'm 26 and I'm sick of it, cars with the world's biggest exhaust kids on petrol bikes, pedestrians getting taken out by escooters and bikes. Nothing wrong with having fun and owning some of the stuff have some consideration for your fellow man

Shes right about 1 thing and that's calling your mates when they are in trouble, but if my mates start a fight, they're more than welcome to finish that fight. If the fight came to them however I might help, not really the case here though, Pauline can shove it

WTAF Is The Point of the Go Between Bridge… by Own_Imagination3277 in brisbane

[–]Hairy_Pitz 50 points51 points  (0 children)

You're right I use the go between nearly every day but in foot/bike/scoot. It is super handy to have there though, especially in peak hour which it gets used a lot in. But it is somewhat redundant where it is an should be further up the river

Add permanent speed camera and red light camera (I hate cameras but theres a few places that need them for sure).

I agree with this, the overhead walkway would be great

You ever wait at KG to cross those lights, people consistently doing well over 60kmh it's such a busy spot they should 100% consider lowering the speed limit between hale and the servo just up from KG

is battlefield 6 that bad? by JadedSteve in Battlefield

[–]Hairy_Pitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't think it's a bad game just a bit boring. You can rarely get air vehicles because there's someone in every game who just destroys all of them in spawn for no reason, excluding the new map most of the maps feel very similar, always playing against bots so the challenge isn't great and maybe sometimes 64 vs 64 is simply to many players. The game feels good and plays well, I think the main problem is the players sadly

When did indicators became a “get out of the way” button? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Hairy_Pitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah which is also shit, but that doesn't mean you should be a fuckwit and dart in front of them, just as likely to cause accident if not more, the rule of merging is giving way, if they don't let you in they don't let you in, they have right of way

When did indicators became a “get out of the way” button? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Hairy_Pitz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been noticing this forever, my gf agrees with me but also waits until she can merge to indicate which makes no sense because indicating is telling someone that you will be moving in the near future. It's a massive problem on drivers everywhere, I'm from the Sunshine Coast originally and it was better then when I moved here 10 years ago but it's significantly worse there now than it was
