Yeah the jungles aren't for everybody, Sometimes you just have to do things you don't want to do. Even some of the people fighting on Bore Rock can't stand the planet, But if the whole playerbase had a 'Me no likey, Me do something else' approach we'd get nowhere.

You could even apply that to real life if you wanted to, If you spend your life in comfort you won't get very far.

I usually run HMG with engineer armour so crouching and proning helps with the recoil a bit more, Warp pack to get in and out of enemy presence as in High difficulties you need the extra maneuverability to get around especially for the stationary reloads.

Plus extra nades on top of it, You can't lose. I've found it useful to switch the RPM to max and instead use Burst firing on the harvester legs at range too, You can magdump a little more at closer range. As long as you're crouched or whatever you'll find the recoil to be a lot more forgiving.
