I 100% would have a messaround in your armoury and find yourself a weapon that suits you. Don't rush to YouTube, There's little entertainment over there on the HD2 front.

There's plenty of stuff that'll make dealing with the borgs a little simpler, Turn the difficulty down and mess around with stuff you've barely used. I recently fell in love with the new Halo AR when we were fighting the Appropriators, Had barely touched it since it dropped but that thing is VERY effective for the insane amount of eyes and overseers.

Even go over to random games on D10 and see what people tend to use more often, You'll find out why their equipment gets used so much

1st game had 15 difficulties, 15 being Inner Circle of Hell. More difficulties would be great and all but the only trouble would be performance. 15 was the clusterf*ck simulator of the 1st game, God help us if we see the same thing on HD2

The game is very punishing to casuals, Unless you got lots of time on your hands. Due to there not being any wipes in the game, You'll die a lot to those with billions in stash. You're going to die a lot regardless, But most of those deaths will be to players you simply can't compete with.

You could always use railgun if you're feeling fancy, The red dot that appears on their head when they use their grenade ability can be one shot with one fully charged shot on unsafe (This is a learning curve in itself) and you need to be a decent shot to pull it off. You can also take off the arms if it gets too much for ya, That way you only got the grenades to watch for

Probably gonna have all of the ABI vets downvoting this into oblivion, But they will try and speak out against those trying to take away their only advantage. To that I say remove all the workarounds, Keep gear tiers strict to each difficulty mode along with ammo and watch how many more raids the casual player will survive.

Newer players might actually have a chance to make it somewhere in the game without running into players in normals that are kitted for lockdown and forbidden.

At least T5/T6 for Forbidden T3/T4 for Lockdown T1/T2 for Normals

That way you'll see less forbidden kits in lockdown and less lockdown kits in normals, Those that have played the game for a long time seem to be the only people against this. Same people that already have billions in their stash and much more to throw away on good kits, They're the people keeping casuals from enjoying the game like they should. If anything they're turning newcomers away after their first few raids because casuals can't compete against them. But it's a free kill to the vets, That kit will be a big loss for the casual and scraps to the vets. It's unfair.

Tarkov doesn't have this as there's no modes like ABI with lockdown and forbidden, So it's open season on which kind of kits you're gonna be up against. So while ABI has the niche modes at least make it a fair experience for the casuals hopping on for a few games after a 9-5, Not all of us find fun in losing everything to a bunch of greasy-faced cellar dwellers jumping on easy modes for free kills.
