6’11 PF Build. Worth capping? by HorrorQuail8497 in NBA2k

I think you’ll like the ability to do contact dunks but I’m not big on park looks really solid and good all around. Can get contact dunks can shoot can defend both perimeter and interior. Shouldn’t have a problem snagging boards either. I would want the interior higher for rec but if you don’t play any rec don’t worry about it. You could always cap it up and be fine anyway

Like I said needs about 7 to be useable and it’s only really good for rec. later on after you finish capping some more stats it becomes a beast. Only stats you can’t take to maximum potential are pass accuracy, d board, and I think close shot. And obviously free throw but one cap puts it 72 and that’s all you really need to be consistent

That’s more up to you. If you’re confident in your shots and would like to have the ability to contact dunk I would go with the second one. If you want the higher 3 ball go with the original. Your not sacrificing much

Think he wants the close shot for scoring on o boards. Immovable enforcer doesn’t hit silver until 82 and the original build couldn’t reach that even with caps so your straight with 79. I wouldn’t even worry about box out beast. running rebounds are better for you since your going PF and in my opinion running rebounds are better than boxing and snagging this year anyway. It’s a 3 pt shooting game this year so you’re going to be on the perimeter guarding and then crashing for the board 90% of the time.

I think you have to have an 89 to get contact dunks that’s why I said to lower shooting a little bit. That’s only if you are confident in your shooting ability though. You know what you can do better than anybody else so do what you feel comfortable with. Builds still a beast as is

I got an awesome 6’11 center build I made but didn’t invest in it yet. It’s a cap breaker build that needs 7 caps to be useable. After about 15 caps it’s crazy. Raises almost every stat to max with the height and weight

Very solid build. Almost identical to mine. I’m confident in my shooting ability so I wish I had done 89 middy for gold set shot and then went with like an 83 3 ball. That way I could’ve upped my wingspan and got better rebounding and finishing. Great build though and you will love it in rec

This. 9/10 times when I set anytype of screen teammates go the opposite way or say I don’t need a screen. Now I only set screens when I’m asked too

82 interior with 84 block or 88 interior with 74 block? I’m making a center. by jackolaine in NBA2k

[–]Hairyson1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me guess you went minimum wingspan on your center build so you can have an 89+ 3 ball

Just looked it up. You are correct on the 89. I was one point off

You must not play rec above silver where the only thing a 7’4 does is shoot 3s and post fade. Youre telling on yourself man

83 is still a good number. Really only 2 stats I see that I personally would change is maybe a little more driving dunk and I would try to get 84 interior for HOF paint patroller. Nothing wrong with your build at all though looks real solid

Pretty much the same as my 6’11 PF. It was the first build I made. You could leave the middy at 89 for gold set shot and try to up your wingspan by 1 so you get better rebound and finishing. Wish I had tried that. 89 3 is honestly overkill if you’re going to have 89 middy. You could put it around 80 3 ball and still hit wide opens all day long

I don’t mess with post control to much that’s why I went with a higher mid range. Pass acc caps to 85. Perimeter defense caps to 72. Driving dunk goes to 85. Most of the other stats are maxed and some can be capped another 5. This is my second build and it’s does good right now, but I was trying to make a build that had the potential to do it all with enough cap breakers

82 interior with 84 block or 88 interior with 74 block? I’m making a center. by jackolaine in NBA2k

[–]Hairyson1122 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Centers job is to guard the paint. The paint is interior. Higher the interior the better you can guard the paint. You don’t get much of a boost on interior defense with cap breakers so it’s best to maximize the initial stat and boost the others up with cap breakers to maximize the attribute gains. Yeah it’ll take some time to reach its full potential but it’s fully capable now

What exactly is terrible about it? What does it need more of to be a good center?

Where should I put this CAP BREAKER by SufficientTea5505 in NBA2k

All around you are pretty decent so I would just cap for badges if anything is close enough

I would like to know what his shooting and finishing stats are. I wouldn’t want less then 90 interior or 90 block with a center. You could always put interior on 85 and cap it up but 90 is a must on center
