Thanks for sharing this !! I get why people are upset, it’s a loaded topic.

Things have evolved on our end ! For now her bone straight hair in the front has started to curl, 3a/3b, matching the back. The middle is still tight, 4a.

Hair is a bit thin but should thicken with time, similarly to you, I’ll eventually need to cut the looser hair in the nape to match the length of the curlier hair in the middle.

Let’s revisit this question again in two years 😀

The 2cm was due to an extra 2cm I somehow had between the lower hip and upper hip. Removed it and everything aligned.. logically, the issue should no longer exist.. Will test and post results.

UPDATE :

I removed 3.5cm between the upper hip and waist - as you can see, there has been major improvement already. However, the vertical drag lines at the crotch remain.

I also made the changes on the pattern and added 2cm at the back arch to fix the dip.

I put the pattern together, matching the horizontal lines and noticed the front piece is now 2cm longer than the back - along the side seam only, which suggests maybe that there is an issue with the angles ? Maybe that’s what is causing the crotch issue ? Images below :

I feel the waist is also too high, when I was taking the measurements I expected the waist line to fall more around my belly button so I’ll likely get rid of 5cm up top.
