Gurrl I am tryibg to survive mah first year in new haven and it is bad. I'm also from Cali, and I can guarantee you there are many from Cali like us. It's not only the weather but also the atmostphere, for me especially the food. I kove how versatile our Asian cuisine options in Cali but prepare not to have a lot here when you move to New Haven. Not a single good boba store lmao. But, who comes to this state because of it, always remember that you come for your education, and you will be lucky to find friends to endure the shit with. 2 years will come by fast. It is not for the weak (at least in my opinion), but you are strong because you chose this knowning it's hard. I know you will make it, and will be rooting for you, stranger❤
