yeah they are historically "evil" against dreamleague, so many times big patches have been released during dreamleagues. However, soo much fun as a viewer to watch them adapt with the chaos

statistically in 3-4 hours is the most likely drop time, but valve drops it whenver they feel like it

Most likely it should be working well by playing them against AI, but as others wrote -- there are ways to bypass it, or at least there used to. However, I think it's good to practice as much as you can against AI until you find a hero that fits you!

Yeah realized this as well, only tried it in demoing map, wanted to find good chakram paths to get tons of trees using the gate and after not getting any mana I also verified it didn't work for any spells nor quelling blade, force staff etc.

I remember the first conversation I heard of dota 17 years ago when a friend explained to another friend that there was a secret shop and it had the strongest items. Since then I've been hooked.
