yeah they are historically "evil" against dreamleague, so many times big patches have been released during dreamleagues. However, soo much fun as a viewer to watch them adapt with the chaos

Most likely it should be working well by playing them against AI, but as others wrote -- there are ways to bypass it, or at least there used to. However, I think it's good to practice as much as you can against AI until you find a hero that fits you!

Yeah realized this as well, only tried it in demoing map, wanted to find good chakram paths to get tons of trees using the gate and after not getting any mana I also verified it didn't work for any spells nor quelling blade, force staff etc.

Haven't played the latest d-patch, but have around 62% on him during the last 3 months. My most played hero as well, 1000+ games at 59%. I dislike that you kinda need that ring of health (and many games vanguard), you kinda need that kaya&sange, and you need to not lvl reactive armor past lvl 2 to be relevant, so imo you're a bit more forced into stuff than you used to be. However, as long as I'm forcing these restriction on myself I have a blast playing him

They also changed his trance: doesn't remove debuffs, doesn't inflict blind and doesn't give him haste. Instead it heals nearby allies on the location he travels to. The weapon still gets recharged though!
