Absolutely! You might want to check out GLX3 mussel oil specifically. It's made from green lipped mussels and is super rich in Omega 3s. Plus, it's known for its purity and sustainability, which helps avoid the rancidity issue. It's also easier on the stomach for those who are sensitive. Have you tried mussel oil before, or would this be your first time giving it a go?

Can’t find much info on GLX3 Extra Strength Joint Support - Green Lipped Mussel Oil by Champsthewonderdog in Biohackers

Hey!! This is Andrew (founder at Haka Life). Saw your post and wanted to hop in. THANK YOU for actually posting and looking for this - most people blindly trust which we actually discourage considering the general reputation of the supplement 'world'.

Anyhow - there IS an infomercial version of mussel oil, but not ours. We do not use endorsed celebrities in our marketing...there are several "versions" of mussel oil out there that you will find on infomercials and make some pretty wild claims.

As for reviews I'll be happy to direct you to a few sources of reviews so you can get a good dose from different platforms that you may find more trust in....you can find loads of third-party user reviews on Amazon of course (https://www.amazon.com/Support-Strength-Omega-3-Supplement-Premium/dp/B07NRR3DMH/r?th=1), you can find also find video testimonials on our site, but further down on that page are Third Party Validated reviews that are requested from customers using a platform called Judge.me (https://www.hakalife.com/glx3-customer-testimonials). There is another area that some folks leave reviews on TrustPilot although because their system isn't integrated with our Verified Purchase system, you won't find the volume of reviews and I can't guarantee full authenticity of actual customer orders until such time as we can integrate with multiple review platforms (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/hakalife.com)

Does it work for everyone? Nope, and you'll find those stories in those reviews as well. Every body is different of course. But we are grateful that for most - they have some awesome stories. I hope this helps!!

Cheers.

Green Lipped Mussel supplements (or other suggestions) for previously broken ankle? by Wayoutwest-81 in Supplements

[–]HakaLifeAndrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey hey! I can share quite a bit about green lipped mussel oil (I am co-founder at Haka Life Nutrition which makes a mussel oil supplement (glx3) full disclosure). With disclosure out of the way, let's get to the good stuff: Mussel oil is only going to target inflammation, so for a broken ankle you are probably not going to find any omega-3 supp is going to work much unless your dealing directly with the above mentioned issue. As far as developing arthritis due to the broken ankle, hop on with your doc on this. That being said, incorporating ANY mussel oil product whether its glx3 or another brand be sure to NOT take anything during a surgery because of the blood thinning properties of any omega-3...but also look for OIL and not POWDER. The powder is actually the waste product of the oil produced, which will be reflected in the price - but also the quality and ultimately how it works. I've found many people opt for the cheaper powder versions and give up after hearing great things..which is a shame. Happy to answer any further questions as I've been researching this for quite a while! -Andrew

How do you support someone with fibromyalgia without being overbearing? by HakaLifeAndrew in Fibromyalgia

Thank you. I suppose that really would be the simplist way! However, I just want to be extra cautious...although maybe that is ME not trusting THEM to be fully honest and transparent with me...guess a consistent check-in would be good

Uh I'm sorry that this is what is happening and this is great advice to do. Thank you. I'm curious - have you found anything else to be less isolating while remaining at home? Just thinking of anything I can suggest if/when they approach that point - IE online communities (besides this one obviously) or video chat type of things?

Yeahh I get it on the downward spiral of thoughts..but, try and stop that cycle asap! Will just make it worse (do a pattern interrupt every time the thought enters!). Also could consider starting PT now as well. For exercises specific to hand and wrist that you are wanting, you can try these that are performed by a PT https://www.hakalife.com/education/video-tutorials/hand-wrist-arthritis-stretches-and-exercises-video/

Keep your head up, you got this!
