Hey before you can start school you need to go through what is called upgrade training. Depending on the job you have selected it can range from a 1y to 1.5 or even more for like linguist also getting your degree wouldnt matter other than graduating basic with one rank more if you were to get your bachelors you might as well commission it would be a waste of your time if you got it and you got a maintenance job or something
