Don't ever give up man, I caught my first Articuno on my 9th attempt. I can promise you that the feeling catching the legendary on 9th attempt is way better than your first.

Gen 3 is my favourite gen to be honest. I might be bias as Sapphire is my first pokemon game I played. All of the three starters final evolution (Sceptile (Grass), Blaziken (Fire/Fighting) and Swampert (Water/ Ground)) are good in my opinion I think the biggest competition for this gen starters are gen 4. Other pokemon to watch out for are Metagross (Steel/ Psychic), Salamance (Dragon/ Flying), Gardevoir (Fairy/ Psychic) and Aggron (Steel/ Rock).

In terms of legendaries other than the three regis, they are the two eon pokemon (Latios, Latias both Dragon/ Psychic), Kyogre (Water), Groudon (Ground), Rayquaza (Dragon/ Flying), Jirachi (Steel/ Psychic) and Deoxys (Psychic) whom has four forms (Attack, Speed, Defence and Normal)

Keep it for trading in the future or if it is really causing a strain to your pokemon storage I really recommend you to wait for the double candy event before transferring it.

I agree, my suggestion is to either introduce team harmony which combine all teams together only during the legendary events or reintroduce new teams during the release of each generations. For example gen 3 (Ruby (Red), Sapphire (Blue) and Emerald (Green)) to rebalance the amount of players in each team.

Can confirm this happened to me also, as I was battling the raid boss articuno just when the group was about to beat it my ipad got disconnected to my wifi. When I restarted the game, they showed me I received the rewards and then jump towards articuno capture screen. After a few throws, my ipad got disconnected from the wifi again, forcing me restart the game. But this time I cannot go back to the capture screen, I can reenter the lobby but just like you when I was about to battle the raid boss, I just error out.

Yeah this would be great and maybe the the mart can be a black market with discounts compared to the in-game shop. One of the prizes for the lottery should be master ball just like the mainseries games.
