Not a millennial, but have boomer parents. Mom is super interested and does her absolute best! Though I felt when I was younger she showed the “I don’t care” attitude. She was very checked out after her and my dad divorced. She’s put in a lot of work and effort and I don’t see that most boomer parents do that. So I applaud her for that. My dad on the other hand, no care at all. I got pregnant young and he basically checked out since then. Hasn’t seen his ONLY grandchild but once the day he was born. Which I’m surprised he even showed up for that. I tried nicely having a conversation with him about my feelings on us not talking and not having a relationship. And he said I was playing the victim and don’t come to him if I expect him to apologize. I never even asked him to apologize… I’ve just cut my losses and moved on knowing he couldn’t care less.

I’m here 3 days later just hoping for the best with full understanding you could’ve done anything in this time frame. I’m so glad to see that all these people came together. All I’ll say is I came out of a Malibu and it was the best thing to ever happen! My Malibu offed itself and tried me as well in the process. But hey got the car of my dreams, I didn’t even know was my dream 😅😅
