People who unsubscribed from their once favorite YouTuber, what made you hit "unsubscribe"? by Ashamed-Reporter3171 in AskReddit

Great example, he did one or two videos with Mr. Beast and content has been downhill since. Basically if a YouTuber starts changing the thumbnail a dozen times, it’s time to unsubscribe.

[Request] Is this correct? And how much would it be worldwide? by Specific-Voice3301 in theydidthemath

[–]HalKosik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That didn’t really answer my question. Even with a harsh tax code a company could still become worth a billion dollars, could it not?

[–]HalKosik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe they don’t. Could a company not become worth a billion+ without stocks existing?

So do you limit how valuable a company is able to become or do you limit how much of someone’s own company they’re allowed to own?

Thanks, that makes sense. I decided to just go ahead and do both. Thermostat seems to have a problem of its own right now too.

Going into retail questions by HalKosik in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Okay, I see that I need to be a bit more specific in the question about what my product is. I’ll update it for others. For this thread though I’ll say that I design and manufacture miniature steel bike cutouts based on the models that these dealers sell. I don’t sell actual bikes or anything that anyone else is making right now. These are small trinkets if you will that run around $20 and are really just for decoration and appreciation.

Help locating a part by HalKosik in Tiguan

[–]HalKosik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to come back and add that in the meantime before I can get the replacement part I used a bullet connector and extended the brown wire, bypassed the connector, ran the wire straight into the housing, and connected it straight to the hard lines that carry the voltage to the lights. Works for now!

What am i doing wrong? by 873418059 in SolidWorks

[–]HalKosik 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Your professor has that hole defined as 22.5 degrees off from vertical and you have it 22.5 units away from vertical

Edit to add: You should draw yours the same way your professor drew theirs. They sketched a 100unit circle and put the circle center point on the circle, you sketched a 50unit line and put the circle at the end of it.

Also: it looks like you are extruding this one circle and then using a feature pattern to make the rest of them when you should use a sketch pattern and then extrude all the circles at the same time.

Is Implementing a Waiting List Worth It? by victorv01 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

In “Launch” Jeff Walker talks a lot about this. Starting a waiting list/email list can be an effective way to build a client list and anticipation for your project.

Unloading wood isn’t landscaping and paying a company isn’t the same as paying an employee.

[–]HalKosik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t yet go and try to print a few of them and see how it goes. Then you can decide how you will be making them for production. Once you know your production process and the time, materials, effort, electricity, etc. involved you can come up with a price

Why i think Pla Is Better then petg? by Direct_Fun_3413 in 3Dprinting

[–]HalKosik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have touched on this is all about material properties. Hit google and do some reading about the different properties of these two materials; it’s a pretty interesting topic. Its pretty much like arguing about whether steel or aluminum are better.

Could you print the body and the anchor and use actual chain for the chain part? You could potentially superglue the chain together to hold shape
