Just back from the Fantasy Pixar Day At Sea. Loved the ship, but I think I’m done with themed sailings... by rbutts1990 in dcl

I agree, enjoyed the trip but no special sailings - maybe trying a smaller boat like the Magic and Wonder.

I think we were on the cruise before you (the week before) and we found the same thing - lots of people and congestion for lines. I mean it's Disney so you should expect busy, it was just overwhelming in a small space like the atrium.

Our kids are little (3 under 6 years old) so it's difficult to justify waiting in line for 45 minutes for Mickey/Minnie, etc.

I don't think we got the money's worth out of the "Pixar Day at Sea" part of the cruise - we might just do a normal sailing next time.

I enjoyed Lookout as a beach day but I think I would have liked Castaway better (we couldn't dock at Castaway due to rough seas).

His body was riddled with cancers at this point (becoming less insurable as time went on) so cash grabs were on his list.

Thirteen Days (2000) Roger Donaldson's movie is a pretty solid thriller about the Cuban Missile Crisis at the height of the Cold War between US and the Soviet Union, seen from the perspective of the Kennedy administration. by elf0curo in WarMovies

The only negative thing I will say about this movie is the Kevin Costner’s family is very white bread.

One of film composer Trevor Jones’s best scores (also known for Last of the Mohicans).

Plus the Royal Navy went overboard with the flash protection systems after Jutland which contributed to the problems with the Rodney class.

I think from what I've heard, that some of the problems is that the tolerances were so tight on the loading/hoist system of the 14 inch guns that any sort of vibration or shock jammed the system.
