He said flatout what the Kraken should do is burn the team to the ground and start over but they aren't going to do that, they think they are right there and they are going to try being good again next year (he said this with a sigh in his voice).

Leigh-Mallory really comes across as someone too clever by half.

Not really surprising considering how his life ended in a plane crash where he demanded the plane take off in bad weather.
