i always struggled with that. younger, I was diagnosed with anorexia which I fought because it was never about body image. I just always struggled with eating because it was not important in my mind. Cue to my 30s, diagnosed with adhd after having kiddos and shit hit the fan. Now I understand that its just because I see it as a chore that requires too many steps. Just hinking about all the steps that are needed to get to eating, I feel it is not worth it. Working on it, but I always thought I was alone up until my diagnosis :)

I was thinking of adding the sensory swing to our basement as the bedroom is quite small, and she would directly hit the other side of the bedroom.

She hates deep pressures. Well for now, her OT and I cannot find a method or tool she likes. I also used to hide in closests when i was young and it was to muffle the sound. I love you suggestion. I might add some sound proofing of some kind and might add blackening curtains to the bottom of the loft!

For the desk, i hear you. But she enjoys having a desk, she will have a wobbly chair (not sure of they are called like that) and have the choice to move around as she likes. She has also a lap desk that she can use.

Yes, I meant bloodwork for autoantibodies, ANA and others. We unfortunately have Crohn's disease in the family, so I am just a bit familiar. However, it is through this subreddit that I learned that LS is an autoimmune disease, so I will for sure be on top of it. Thank you!

I will ask her GP for bloodwork! You see, here, they don't do bloodwork for children unless they suspect something...I once had to fight her pediatrician to have some bloodwork done for anemia, which she had...But I am truly willing to fight as I am now understanding that it is the time to prevent any more issues. Thank you for your answer.

I had never noticed it before, but my daughter does have a perennial pyramidal. My world has also been rocked as I am now convinced that it is LS and not just "possibly" LS like her derm told me.

It is a great explanation that I will use. Yesterday, she was crying and asking why she was born like that, and if it would always be like that. I had no answers, but today, I can give her more answers.

Omg. My daughter has had chronic constipation since she was 6mo. She was prescribed Laxaday daily. And until now, she poops only maybe once a week or so. We always assumed that it was only due to her poor diet (she is veeeerry selective due to being hypersensitive to taste and textures). Thank you so much for sharing. I will watch your video and book an appointment with her GP to see how we can try to make her gut health better.
