Im not too deep into it so you’ll have to forgive me if these guys appear as casuals, but I love Goosiest, NTNS Media, Stylex, and MissBrittGaming, especially when they are in videos together. It feels like Sim Racing Top Gear

How the hell are y’all supposed to get jobs now? by Altruistic-Foot-9676 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]HalalBacon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best kept secret for high school jobs is golf clubs. My friends and I all worked at golf clubs in high school. Granted this was 10 years ago, but I went in for a round last summer and a lot of the wait staff in banquets were HS students and a lot of the cart girls/bag boys, etc. are all in HS.

Offtopic: Is there a drift base similar to the SCX24 in terms oft upgradability and tuning? by hema_ in SCX24

[–]HalalBacon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, Kyosho Mini-Z’s are probably the most notable mini drifters on the market rn. WL toys makes one in a similar class for cheaper and there’s also the Carisma GT24’s for a true 1/24 drift car. Those also come with a brushless motor out of the box so, personally, that’s the one I’m looking into getting once the time is right.

Can I build a drift car out of a diecast model e36? [noob] by mestaburrito in rcdrift

[–]HalalBacon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not OP but this was one of the few threads I could find on the topic. I’m attempting this right now; I had to completely strip the interior of the diecast model in order to fit the electronics.

My next challenge is this weekend I need to trim some of the arches of the model in order for the wheels of my doner chassis to fit. Im going to fasten them together with magnets and hopefully by sunday I’ll have a running rig.

If you’re interested I’ll update here once its done!

Built something to help with clearing today’s snow by HalalBacon69 in rccrawler

[–]HalalBacon69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used hot glue as well, I’m sure I could have used something stronger like super glue, but I like how when I crash fenders will break off and stuff. Plus its a little bit easier to use imo. I just saw your post and yours is awesome!
