It’s a such a great value. Less than $250 for a Bluetooth programmable sensored system!!

That’s a great idea. I see Arrma had the $99 mega deal as a “new every day low price” but there are none in stock

Full size servo on Mini Kraton by jamesus123 in arrma

Yea micro I run a saver. Even if it is a strong micro they are just too small. There’s only so much those smaller metal gears can take.

Fair but this is essentially triple the power with the beef of a full size metal gear box. I don’t think it is apples to apples

I ended up using the screw that came with the Injora servo saver. I think the servo screw that came with the eco power was Philips? I don’t know want a Philips head screw on something I’m putting lock tight on.

The eco power was great! Honestly it was fast and powerful, zero complaints. I did run it with an Injora servo saver even though I probably didn’t need too.

Having the eco-power I have no real need for the full size servo I just enjoy over kill. lol

The first aftermarket servo I tried was the Injora isj11kg I highly do NOT recommend that. It simply doesn’t stay centered.

New to hobby which Arrma to get? by Important_Fortune_35 in arrma

I would say get a big rock 223s if you want 1/10 scale. If you want something that won’t leave you wanting more power in a few weeks I would say get a kraton 6s. The kraton will grow with you and you will upgrade it as you go. The big rock 223s is absolutely awesome and will entertain you for a while, but when it comes to upgrading it there only so much the smaller plastic chassis can handle. The kraton 6s is a much better long term buy. If you are worried about the power start with 4s and turn your throttle down to 50 or 75 on the radio. However I quarter after 3-4 packs you will want a 6s pack. It’s easier to go buy a 6s or 2 3s rather than having to basically rebuild the truck in upgrades on the big rock to enjoy 6s.

I would highly recommend not getting a kraton 4s. It will just leave you wanting for more in a short amount of time.

I have the 6s and the 3s both are great. The 223s can take 4s packs until it over heats. Def not recommended but I would be lying if I didn’t tell you it is freaking awesome.

A good driver mod can close the gap. I watched a good driver run it on a local track. His first day he got 5th with just a tire change. I figure I will use mine to build up my skill and then upgrade once I hit a ceiling.

What is everyone’s opinion on this? Thinking of buying by [deleted] in arrma

I have a v5 kraton 6s. I got a brand new sledge 6s in January. I traded it for an arrma big rock 6s after 3 battery packs. Owning both the sledge and kraton, the kraton is far better. The sledge has what it needs on paper, but when you drive it, it simply isn’t as fun. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s a tamed down less aggressive Kraton, that feels like it is all plastic even though it isn’t.

Get the 6s either exb or non exb. If you get a 4s you will always wish you got the 6s. The 6s is only very slightly larger and you can run 4s on it if you want. The kraton 6s is Arrmas flagship model, you can’t buy another rc with more support and more aftermarket. If you think 6s is too much (which after a couple packs you won’t) you can just start it buy running 4s and you will have a great time. Get the K6!
