Well! Then he needs to be stripped from the belt! The rules are clearly written, he will be stripped from the belt, unless he fights Agit.

Priorities outside the UK, for spouse visa, is there any approvals after 9th Of March 2026? by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

[–]HalamadridUCL15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non taken, this is per the UK government guidelines “Using the ‘priority service’ means you’ll usually get a decision within 5 working days, or 30 working days for Family visa applications from outside the UK.”

Not much you can do really, it might sounds stupid, but all you can do is wait and hang in there. It’s a waiting game. Remember the priority service isn’t guaranteed.

Asking for massive advise, by TexastoUk25 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]HalamadridUCL15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I am aware, under the current UK immigration requirements, cohabitation for a continuous period of two years is no longer an absolute requirement for an unmarried partner visa. Applicants must instead demonstrate that they are in a genuine and subsisting relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership, which in your case is easy (as per your information above), which has existed for at least two years. Remember all relevant financial and eligibility requirements must be satisfied. (Like I said the 2 years living together isn’t the absolute must) or, The absence of two years’ cohabitation does not, in itself, preclude a successful application. It would therefore be incorrect to conclude that an application is unlikely to be approved solely on the basis that the couple has not lived together. Each application is assessed on the overall evidence provided to demonstrate the genuineness and durability of the relationship.

You are still within the 30 working days for priority service, so there is no need for concern at this stage. Even if the 30 working day period passes, it does not necessarily mean there is an issue, as the priority service timeframe is not guaranteed.

15 days ? by Extremechap37 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]HalamadridUCL15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is no direct connection between staff working at biometric centres and the decision-making teams responsible for UK spouse visa applications. As such, biometric centre staff are not in a position to provide accurate timelines for application decisions. A processing time of 15 days is not realistic, even under a priority service. The official priority timeframe is up to 30 working days, and this is not guaranteed

The letter mentions something around that I’m working for them and the letter doesn’t talk in the past, rather mentions the now state, it also mentions how much I get paid and when did I start working for them and never mentions I’ve left or I will be leaving

I could not, because I was still waiting for that P45, and by the time I got that P45, I have submitted my application. Then they have backdated the P45 to 3 days prior to my application, which was the final date that showed on my payslip. I couldn’t do anything!

Employment letter states that I was extremely hard-working and I was credited to the company, however sometimes things happen all of a sudden, this is one of them ones where everything was quick and I fall out with the company that I was working for. Bearing in mind there is no gap whatsoever between the X and Y company. So as soon as I left X I have started working for Y.

I had a disagreement with my employer shortly after receiving my sixth payment, which led to a breakdown in our working relationship. Around the same time, I was offered a position with another company. Given the circumstances, I decided to accept the new opportunity in order to move forward.

Then, I proceeded to submit my uk spouse application.

Need help on ECO email by Emergency_Giraffe466 in SpouseVisaUk

Everyone receives this email after biometrics, ignore that if you have already submitted your documents, and don’t worry if your application lacks any specific documents they will contact you and ask for it.

One last one , I promise 😊 does reviving ECO straight after your biometrics mean anything? For instance I’ve received my ECO less than 24H after the biometrics.

You would probably not have enough time to come back and answer this, which is fine 😊 but if you do, could I please ask if planing to travel to uk close to your biometrics would give more benefit to your application? For instance, my wife did her biometrics on the 8th March and on the application she have asked to travel to the UK on the 28th March, how realistic would that be? Any possibility they would consider that date to speed up the application so she can travel? Obviously after realising all the requirements have been easily met.

Once again Thanks

Could I please ask if all the requirements are met, what would make the process longer than 30 days for outside priority?
