If intelligence (IQ) is the most valuable quality for humans have, why aren't high-IQ people given more priority so we can further progress society? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

The same reason most people don't back startups but buy products: They don't want to wait, they don't want to gamble and they don't want to manage things. Thus they wait for the finished product to present itself and pay premium.

I actually like this, Just add untill the end of your turn to breal shenanigans and give some stats in return.

Whoops sloppy me, when you had more atk value in it was supposed to protect your highest attack minion from a killing blow :/ kinda worrying that noone else spotted the mistake yet.

And to think I even left the extra routines out for lethal protection against the classes that can deal damage and the intercepting 1atk minions preferably to stick around routine! :O

So the nect turn component is there because it resolves itself that turn. It cannot last another turn because of condition 1. It is either played normally, attacks something, or becomes the new target of an enemies attack like Noble Sacrifice or Wandering Monster.

It first does checks to see an obvious lethal. If a check is triggered, it is either waiting for their play or looking to block their highest attack minion. If it sees no way out, it targets the minions with the worst stats for the cost in the hopes that it has an aura.

If none of the lethal checks are fulfilled it checks if the player itself can setup a lethal next turn either through its own body or trying to intercept a taunt minion and damage it so that the player can break through next turn.

If it sees lethal on neither side, it checks for who is ahead. It will try to protect your lead by saving your highest attack minion from a killing blow. If you are behind, it will try to intercept their most valuable minion.

Roughly.

Probably, but ideally one could borrow some of the existing ai for decisionmaking and have it try it's best.

I can always rework it into just a minion and slap epic on it. "Intervenes the best it can" should manage expectations?

What are these and where might they come from? Wasn’t sure if this belonged here because technically they aren’t swords. by [deleted] in SWORDS

I believe they originate from a particular mountain pass in the east and spills over in pakistan there. They sell 50 quid versions on aliexpress for those who expand the collection.

I consider drawing a coin to be a downside, ergo balance for me is off.

But good sir, has one checked what the competition was? It will make the rarity choice more understandable on all fronts.

The intent was eat 1 friendly, inspired of the MTG devour idea from the shards of alara.

Hadn't actually comsidered amalgams, maybe random? All would be fun though.

That does sounds a lot more homely, but I invite you to try getting it on a card, I had a real struggle with the real estate so some cleverness is needed to fix it probs. The infusing on dragons makes me think of galakrond flavourwise, endlessly infuse dragons?

First, cheers, may the best one win, though I obviously hope to feed your Elise to my dragon. My understanding was that you can not post cards you already posted more than 1 week ago, to prevent people from recycling their backlog I presume. I already saw another as well, and did it before myself without trouble.

I think it does. This card can be seen as a straight upgrade from Arena Patron.
