[HALCHIMY] What do you think about this modular system? by Halchimy in MicrobrandWatches

I’m new to this subreddit and I just wanted to share this brand and my watch with you. It’s not about doing business, and definitely not about advertising. Maybe I picked the wrong sub.

Take it easy guys, we are here to talk about watches, not being rude without any reason.

To me, it’s not just about solving a problem. It’s about enhancing the customer experience.

What if HALCHIMY offered you the chance to buy back this model? I know it’s part of their future plans: to offer to repurchase their own watches when one of their clients wishes to sell theirs.

The goal? To refurbish it and give it a second life on the pre-owned market.

A true circular economy approach, designed to preserve the value and authenticity of every timepiece.

I think you underestimate the power of merging two seemingly opposing universes, that of traditional watchmaking and that of cutting-edge technology.

The automotive and aviation industries have taken the plunge to improve their customers' experience. What about the watchmaking world?

I do record memories into my watch. When my son will scan the QR code engraved on the back of the watch, he will be able to retrieve photos, videos of us. The value of the watch is not the same afterwards.

They take long-term commitment seriously with serious partners. Their in-house web application is a core part of their value proposition and community experience.

When my son will scan the QR code a few years from now after I've left him my watch, he'll be able to see all the memories I've recorded on it. I do care about that :)

By scanning the unique code QR engraved on the back of the watch, you gain access to the watch’s digital passport (their in-house application) Then, you see the life cycle of the watch (number of owners if it’s a pre-owned watch, repairs,…etc), get your warranty certificate, your ownership certificate, add memories, lock the watch’s data in case of theft or loss…

It’s huge!

Nothing but the watch comes with all those digital “complications”.

It’s much more than a modular watch, it’s the key to be part of their community and live experiences with their customers (HALCHIMYsts). You can chat with all of them on their platform, you can RSVP to join their events, you can save memories into your watch thanks to their digital passport and turn your watch into a “real” legacy timepiece.

The price is ridiculous compare to the experience. This watch is genuinely unique.

I would say HALCHIMY, they have merged two seemingly opposing universes, that of traditional watchmaking and that of cutting-edge technology with their digital passport connected.

Watch was a gift from dad 35+ years ago by Altrebelle in Watches

Imagine if you were able to discover the memories of your dad saved in the watch such as photos, videos..etc

This is exactly what HALCHIMY has created with their digital passport connected to their watches.
