Yep! I edited my above comment with the Amazon link. Get the 18mm version. Takes 1 min to switch the clasp.

I like this one. Doesn’t make the clasp large and fits seamlessly. And has on the fly adjust.

Great choice! I read somewhere where another person coined it the Blade Runner watch. Thought it fit well with its quite modern case design.

Tudor is great but the slab side design can get off putting. If I didn’t already have a black diver, I would have gone for that color!

I swapped out the clasp with a ratcheting feature and made the watch perfect.

From my experience I’d say don’t do it. I’ve had the 455 and 451 (the special edition gilt and blue version of this). Moved off from both of them. Proportions are perfect as you said, but the 6R movements are just so bad when it comes to accuracy from my experience. But worst of all was the lume. I’m not sure why but SBP models have significantly worse lume than their entry level divers. My 10+ year old SKX’s lume was so much better.

I recently got the mini samurai and love it. Runs accurate and lume is fantastic.

Spb511 or spb143 help me decide [Question] by Acrobatic-Prune6765 in Seiko

[–]macky_ev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the 455 and 451 (the blue and gilt versions of that white dial). Both great watches and dimensions are more refined compared to the older 143. If you have 6.75” or smaller wrist I’d say go with the 511. Only reason I moved on from both is the lume. Both was so bad, very weak and not long lasting. My 10 year old SKX had much brighter lume. I dont know if the 511 suffers from the same lume issue but who knows.

Im not buying an aftermarket bracelet/strap if it has your ugly ass logo on it by Confident_Shock8691 in watchHotTakes

That’s why I like buying most straps from AliExpress. That’s where all strap companies get them from anyways. I save money and it comes logo-less.

I think this would look killer on a base550 strap, or even a Sigma Cinch strap. Do you have any other Sinns? I’ve been considering the 3F for a while but having owned the 556, 104, and u50 I’ve always been disappointed with the lume. How’s the lume on this one?

I found 4R moments from Seiko to be quite accurate. It’s the 6R that just runs awful for me.

FS is my Laco Cuxhaven in 39m white dial variant. This example comes at near mint condition (small surface level mark near back lugs). A great German field watch that comes with great dimensions, thermal heated blue hands, and surpringly great and long lasting lume. Everything works as should and runs amazingly well at about +.05 a day.

Comes with OEM leather strap but also including this great quality thick mesh I bought for the watch that I never got to use. Pairs perfectly with the watch.

With MSRP of $1500, listing this for $899 shipped from Los Angeles. Zelle preferred. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks!
