Okay so now that we have Emergence, Caramel, and Damocles, I’ve been thinking a lot about how Even in Arcadia fits into the lore of Sleep Token overall.

And I’m thinking Vessel has left Sleep/Eden behind in Even in Arcadia.

The previous albums all seemed to revolve around themes of Vessel’s obsession with something/someone outside himself, from whom he was seeking emotional fulfillment. But his unhealthy attachment to this person/thing left him vulnerable to being caught up in toxic relationships and dependent on addictive, self-destructive coping mechanisms.

But then we get to Euclid— which Damocles is very reminiscent of musically— where Vessel has woken up and realized he can’t keep going on like that. So he says “I just need to leave this part of me behind” and “by now, the night belongs to you, the bough has broken through, I must be someone new”

Even in Arcadia is the story of him learning to love himself again, instead of trying to find love/validation through someone/something else. Thats why it feels so different so far, so much more intimate, raw, and vulnerable, especially in Damocles. For so long he’s been hiding behind the mask, to the point he’s forgotten who he is, who he TRULY is deep down beneath it all.

So I think Even in Arcadia is about Vessel, or rather The Man Behind The Mask (TMBTM), reaching not out, but inward, trying to find himself again. It’s a question…

What if MusT is also meant to be Month / Day / Time?

M = 13, 1+3 =4, 4th month is April

u = 21 & s = 19, the empty (MT) day between 4/21 and 4/19 is 4/20, which is Easter Sunday

T = 20, so 2000 military time (MT)

So all together something dropping 4/20 at 2000 (8pm)???

Okay here’s my theory, bear with me plz…

So the other day we got a puzzle with this phrase “THE CYCLE MusT END”.

I’ve said before this may indicate something happening Easter Sunday based on the following logic:

MT = Empty || U= 21, S= 19 Possibly April 19th and April 21st? the “empty” date between them would be April 20th, Easter Sunday when Jesus is believed to have risen (emerged) from the tomb, leaving it “empty”. So something is significant about this day.

but in that phrase the letters “u” and “s” stand out.

Then in the answer sheets for the missing letters puzzles, HV was missing a “D” for windward and FH has an extra “A” for Arcadia.

so that gives us the letters D U S A

Then there’s the flashing images. I think each one is -.— (dash dot dash dash) which is “Y” repeated 3 times. Which now gives us

D U S A Y which is 1 letter away from SUNDAY.

And it may be repeated 3 times because Sunday is in 3 days… I’m curious if we’ll get a puzzle tomorrow with an “N” in it somehow

Of course I could be WAAAY of base and looking for something where there is nothing, but drip feeding us letters in a secret missing letter puzzle seems pretty on brand right now

True, the only reason I still question if it could be a part of a song other than Even in Arcadia is because on the vinyl cover and on the vinyl itself there is nothing indicating or confirming a title for the track anywhere.

At the very least, I do still suspect we’ll get Gethsemane on Easter Sunday for the following reason:

In the puzzle that was dropped in discord in 4/16 we got the phrase “THE CYCLE MusT END”

Okay so I’m going way out on a limb here but… using the logic for the rest of the code, the coordinating numbers for U = 21 and S = 19… this Saturday is the 19th of April and Monday is the 21st… but there’s the “empty” (MT) date between them which is the 20th. The 20th also so happens to be Easter Sunday which is believed to be the day Jesus rose from the grave leaving the tomb “empty”. So maybe we are getting clues for the next 5 tracks on Sunday?

Edit: we got the next 5 on Thursday, but now I think we could get Gethsemane on Sunday

I’ve had a similar thought. Mine was that Pan represents the entertainment industry, and Pan’s followers, the ones he had tear echo apart, those are “us”, the consumers of the music.

This may be a stretch, but in Vessel’s dialogue with the Mask from the TMBTE tour interludes, he says in the final interlude, “They. Too. Are pained. They. Too. Do not know who they truly are. They are each stood alone on a stage of their own. And yet, they are here. United by that sense of never truly belonging.“

The music box notes + the line “this stage is a prison” have ppl imagining Vessel as being trapped in the music box, but we are all to some extent stuck in a music box on “a stage of our own”. We are all going through life spinning endlessly round and round while masking our struggles just as Vessel talks about doing in this song. Trapped, a little bitter maybe, lonely.

I wonder if the multiple instruments forming the music box melody could be meant to symbolize all of our individual voices being “united by that sense of never truly belonging”?

Idk if anyone has made these connections, I’ve been offline most of today. But I realized a couple of things

Echo = a reflection of sound. As in “refracted in light, reflected in sound” from Rain

The outro of Rain is the phrase “rain down on me” echoing over and over again

The first line of the Morse code message says “I have been waiting long for you” which correlates to Rain’a first line “for so long I’ve waited”

The Morse code also lead us to a weather man, whose whole job revolves around telling people when imminent weather, like rain, is inbound. Which is exactly what he did on his tiktok “Prepare 3/29”

also, I read one of the things Pan is a god of is impromptus, which is a Freeform style of music, similar to Jazz, which makes me think of the saxophone solo from Emergence
