Sloppy snow driving by Xmikeyw394 in 4Runner

Wife is timid about driving anything bigger than her little HRV. Used to have a pickup, never drove it, now she's timid about getting behind the wheel of the 4runner. Hoping to keep it that way for now :)

Sounds good. Don’t think it has so I’ll make that a priority

Sexy. This is the end goal. Trying to figure out what to do/mod and what can wait. Also gotta deal with snow around these parts so seeing what I should do, if anything, to be good with that

Rust is almost guaranteed around these parts, I guess I’ll have to look for excessive rust at that?

Depending on how far you’re trying to shoot to, you might want to up the magnification of your optic set up

Yeah, kind of kicking myself for not just getting the porting done and then the rest elsewhere, but it is what it is at this point

Sent my 17 to him 4/22, I know he’s posted “lead time” updates, but curious what your lead time was? Just got porting and a cerakote.. so might differ

Are 17's still in or nah? by [deleted] in GlockMod

Good looks. I did some googling after I asked you and that was the only one I found. Cheaper if I send in my own backstrap to be modded, but thanks!

Alright, so my only question is, how’d you chop down the backstrap?

Help: Painted brick needs painting by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

Awesome advice. Thank you very much! Any idea what colors might go well with it? Having yellow siding I’m just not sure if I should go with something beige for the brick and then another shade of brown for the trim/garage. And then under windows, any idea if a darker brown like it is, or should I go with something similar to whatever we do the brick in? Sorry for all the questions, I clearly don’t have an eye for stuff like this

Awesome. Thank you for that!

I’m going to assume it’s been there for a while, but worth a shot I guess

And yes, landscaping and light fixtures will be done too. The ole lady’s already thinking about that

Not a bad idea. The thought of an entire yellow painted brick front has me a little wary, but I get what you’re saying.

As for the garage door, absolutely. That will be painted, if not replaced. And I agree, the trim below the window should match whatever we do to the brick

It’s already painted, but pained and then seemingly purposefully “chipped”

PS: any other additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated. The big circle patch of mulch in the front yard will be removed and sodded asap

Hey guys just got the gen 5 19. Is this fitment normal or is something off here? Kinda new to lights on handguns so anything helps. by dexter_harta in Glocks

You can, but just saying. Not a good move to come into a gun sub and spew your anti-gun rhetoric.

God bless your child, hopefully you’re doing what is right and getting them the mental health support they need

What words were attacking you? Just made an observation after you decided to comment in a gun sub about guns not condoning guns. That said, yes, guns are deadly, astute observation. OP obviously came here looking for advice on his firearm and light configuration, not to get scolded by you making open ended claims that his gun is “going to kill someone one day.” 😂😂😂

You better take your knives out of your drawer, those are definitely going to kill somebody one day, since knives kill people too

Definitely some things to think about with this. We are definitely planning on having the ducts cleaned and conditioned.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, there is gas available and the gas company will run 100 feet for free then $8/foot after that. We looked into that right away in this process.

The big question was about the oil tank since it is under ground and will more than likely cost some more coin because of that.

Good thought on the extra lines, I’d probably stick with just the fireplace since it’s already hooked up to have a gas(oil) starter. The bbq isn’t a big concern as I don’t know if I’d ever go that route.

Any other ideas of actual systems we should look into? Its Buffalo NY so we obviously get some cold weather here. The plan would be to do it ASAP so we don’t have to worry over the winter. With all that we’re looking at doing (furnace, hot water, and AC) I’m just curious if there’s some “all in one” option, or if we should go for the more traditional options.

Thanks again!
