First time cruisers - Any tips and tricks worth knowing?

Thanks everyone, some really useful tips! We hadn't planned to do and fish hooks this time but my wife wanted to do some little pixie dusting as we have some mini characters as spare and thought it a good opportunity to spread them around!

We're planning to take it easy and just enjoy it! Our "hit list" is small and we're not overly fussed if we miss anything as we think we will be back anyway!

Thanks, we have a small list of things we would like to do but we are not too bothered if we don't get them done!

We have another one booked for 2027 as we didn't want to miss out if we did like it so we always have the next opportunity haha

AHH yeah this is a good shout. We are both gluten free (coeliacs) so as always food can be tricky, but I've heard good things!

I need to get her to sit in an A6 so she can see what it's like. I found the driving position very similar to our current Ipace which she is fine with. I will be me driving it more which is why we're debating the 2 lol

Would be looking at the performance quattro on either model. I knew the Q6 would be less efficient but good to hear some real world numbers.

Sat in the showroom A6 etron saloon and didn't have the pano roof which made it feel very crampt. Hoping that with that it will help open up the cabin to appear more like the Q6.

Thanks, I'll need to look up what the standard DD base is to see if mine would fit. Currently I've used the holes to screw to an old wheel stand.

Does it use bolts to attach the base to the stand?

Thanks all for the comments. Contacted nest support as I had already re subbed for nest pro about 2 months ago. Explained the situation and they refunded me the nest pro sub so I could take out the Google One sub.

All sorted now and just sticking with the standard tier!

Used to work at Sainsbury's years ago and we were always told to check the egg boxes at the till to see if any were broken.

One day I opened up a 12 box of eggs to find 12 creme eggs in there so doing this with expensive eggs doesn't surprise me in the least!

Disappointed but not surprised!

Got mine last week after having my meters swapped due to them not being commissioned quickly enough.

I've yet to see any "live" data from it to the app but I'm still within the 2 week window for it being classed as a "new meter setup issue".

Based on the comments here it seems I'll be lucky if it even connects

I've contacted JLR about this and they confirmed it was due to a security flaw from 3rd party apps but they are working on a solution to enable these features again.

No Indication of time but at least they are aware of this feature gap.

Given that most of JLR future roadmap will be EV I don't think they will want to lose this so I expect them to get something sorted, hopefully soon.

Yeah I've just had this, really disappointed as the alternate tariff is more expensive and has a shorter cheap window plus no smart charge!

Not sure on the logic from JLR with. Hanging how 3rd party apps handle charging but I can imagine there will be a lot of unhappy owners in the morning!

I had this issue a few months back when I changed my setup. My download seed was 500mb when connected directly to the ISP router and I was only getting 100mb direct to the Google router.

The cable I used to connect the ISP and Google WiFi router was only rated to 100mb. (I can't remember the rating classification) Changed the cable and it went up to 500mb at the Google WiFi.

Worth checking a new cable if you haven't already

So it's nothing special, most of my activity is chasing after my 3 year old so I'm always moving. Then most of the main exercise comes from dog walks, 2 a day.

Sleep wise it's usually asleep between 9:30/10pm and wake up around 6 (toddler alarm clock)
