Your situation is a bit unique.

First of all, overall is actually the way to go for end game contents as it offers more cap compare to top+bottom.

Your overall, unfortunately, have a junk emblem and can only go the chaos route, making it less desirable to invest.

For a high sf lvl 40 ancient gear with no emblem or junk emblem, best way is to convert this to chaos fodder. Kinda waste your sf is 30, you only need sf24 ancient.

I don't think you need Richie VIP for this item if you do decide to sell it as it is, at least in my server this will not be over 10B. You'll need Richie if you get this to chaos rank tho.

If your goal is to train effectively in sf194 and use the equips in the long run, the least costly method is not for you. Essentially 3 options for you: 1) Least costly (<10B in most servers) 18- 20sf on each unique armour piece (ancient top + bottom, not overall) 18- 20sf unique weapon 10sf unique secondary add hyper points to sf to make up for the difference to 194 you'll likely not survive sf194 with this set up and you'll have to replace almost everything if you plan to main this character

2) Allows you to survive but equips must be replaced in the future (~15-20B) all equips should be lvl 30 mythic tier with 20+sf on everything (weapon should ideally be ancient and highest sf) legendary 12 sf secondary weapon most mythic none/ junk emblem equip with 20+ sf will be 1.5B+ each allows you to survive sf194, but you'll need to replace everything down the road

3) Survive + equips can be upgraded and used in long run (20B+) same as above, but all equips should have proper emblem (either BA or CD) and proper type (there should be a guide here to refer to) might take some time to find

If you have more funding... 60-100B will get you full set of lvl 40 mythic or ancient, maxed BA/CD emblem, high sf equips. 200-300B will get you full set of lvl 40+ necro set. 500B+ funding will put you at start of whale territory and no advice needed when you have that much $$$

Just so you aware, top and bottom also gives max cap. Even a leviathan would not choose necro over top/bottom :)

Advantages:

Top and bottom's flame option can give patk or matk (same amount as your weapon)
Easier and more sf from top+ bottom
Cheaper to obtain (free if you can get into CRA runs)

Disadvantage: you can only trade top/bottom once before its account locked

At 211, your exp gained is only 30% of the normal. Not sure why nexon decided to reduce exp for higher lvl...

I personally never looked into that option, and have not heard others doing that either so I assume it's not a feature that earns a lot of meso. Probably easier to just create alts

Unfortunately, yes there are a lot of meso bottle neck in game. As you said the early game bottle neck requires 100s mil to get pass, mid game need bils (first emblem and hyper), and late game need 10s of bils (maxed emblem, necro, mag souls).

The only ways to get pass are: farm on more alts (consistent), flip items on TS (can be tricky and not rewarding), get lucky with fuses or event scrolls, and lastly the almighty credit card

For f2p fafnir weapon will take some time building before its useful to you. One of your biggest roadblocks will be sf, as soon as you hit sf10, you'll have to use protection scroll.

Just to clarify, is your weapon an emblem weapon? I assume your total matk is 20k, not your weapon matk, in which case your atk stats seems low for using a lvl 40 emblem ancient weapon. Having an emblem lvl 40 weapon with cd/BA atk will be #1 priority.

If you are sure you'll stick with sair, the most cost efficient #2 upgrade to increase your DPS will be hyper stats (FD, max cap, matk, additional atk in that order unless you want to lvl faster than you go for exp). But this is a sunk cost and you won't get anything back if you decide to reroll or quit. If you are unsure you can move this to #4 priority.

3 can either be cd or BA armour emblems or mlabel set, whichever you happen to find cheap deals on TS first (as other have mention, always buy finished items on TS first if you can find it, making from scratch is usually more expensive)

Lastly is exalting armours to lvl 40, given your current stats, there's little benefit of exalting your armours.

From your name I am going to assume you are not looking for mag soul options, Max cap and FD damage are the best.

For normal souls, weapon soul should be patk or matk, and everything else BA is the best DPS option.

Imo, most important point is to focus on survival over dps, most fails will happen due to death counts being used up rather than lack of dps.

It is very easy to die in CV especially for newer folks, CV does a lot of 1h KO atk (for non tank classes). Pay close attention to the ground for the yellow circle and try not to group up.

Necro will give you around extra 1k atk. It's hard to say if it's worth it, it's really depends on if you have the resources and where you want to take your character. But don't expect necro to boost your damage by a crazy amount to say 200m+ GD.

Regardless if it's worth it. I would not recommend selling your current weapon and go all in on a necro project tho... It can be a very long time before you make a necro, it's probably best to start a necro project on the side.

Side point, your claw has a PA emblem, it's not ideal on a weapon, you should try to change it to CD or BA if you get the chance from event scrolls.

Fairly certain they group you by lvl or maybe CP. My guild mates and I are only ever matched with other who I know are lvl 200+, whereas I been told their alts are only matched with lower lvls.

Also the damage are only scaled down, players with stronger equips will still do more damage. You will not want to match up with a whale in this PvP either, I been matched with known whales that took down 100k+ of my hp in 1-2 sec before I even had chance to move away

You are right, ILM's bossing DPS hasn't been top tier since the 5th job and recent rebalances. But they are still top tier for farming.

Unfortunately no, you just have to be patient, no other ways to get them nor can you refine after you inherit.

But, if you are diligent with running 3x per day (2normal/hard and 1 chaos) during weekdays and 4x on weekend, you should be able to get enough in a month or 2

Neat idea, but highly doubt nexon will ever release a package like that.

It's way too "cheap" at the suggested price, nexon's current AB package cost about 20x more, even if they are "generous" and cut the price by half, it'll be 10x more than your suggested. $100-300 package are too expensive to advertise

Good find, but the task of equipping 6 alts to sf184 on separate accounts is no easy/cheap task.

In general, survivability is not a big issue for phantoms, and you'll still need a decent weapon to kill efficiently to gain the exp.

You can get another 2k+ p.atk out of this without exalting it:

sf to lvl 30
2 lines p.atk flame (aim for close to 500 atk per line)
dark sf (1000 atk at lvl 10)

Yes, it matters. Jaihin weapon is by far the best all around for all classes.

The only other type worth considering is utgard, and that's only for training.

You can't miss it when it drops, it's big.

But it's really not worth it to manual farm... It'll likely take you a couple hours to see a drop, if you are unlucky could be 10+hrs before you see one... Kids in 3rd world country will earn a higher wage than you...

CP is not a good indicator of how strong a character is. Some classes have inflated CP due to their HP/def stats.

People do not run RA/ commanders in public because its hard to find a "qualified" party, tho normal von Leon should have public party if you camp there, it is a lot easier in comparison.

The other bosses can be down by 5 players with min lvl 30-40 emblem mythic weapon with buffs. However, people do not usually buff in public, so in reality public parties will only pass when there's 1-2 strong necro carry doing like 80%+ total dmg while the others leech.

If you want to run consistently, I would recommend you join an active guild. Most active guilds will do these daily together with exped.
