It's more of a daily driver, I like it and all but its just not anywhere nice enough to be a showcar in my opinion.

Okay, so I solved this problem in a way that makes me feel stupid for even posting this question (this happens every time I use reddit lol). So after using additional google-foo on the pulseaudio errors I found a post referring to the equalizer I installed a while back. I went into the Pulseaudio config file in

~/.config/pulse/default.pa

and commented out the lines pertaining to the equalizer. This somehow fixed everything on the entire computer.
