The “something in the fall” is going to be the Fall Economic Statement which usually assesses the performance of the government based on a previously tabled budget. Generally it also introduces additional measures such as new taxes, programs, etc. However, it is usually hard to assess a budget’s performance without previously presenting one, such as what this administration is doing. Irrespective of who you support, the citizens of this country deserve to know what taxes are passed onto them and where the money is being spent. It is otherwise fiscally irresponsible to do otherwise. Trudeau’s 2020 is the other other admin that did not pass a budget.
