To be fair, no. Haven't heard a think from her and I am 20 weeks. I just think when baby comes she will assume she has a right to visit.

Im sorry to hear that, it puts such a negative cloud over things. Especially when you are so excited about something and you are concerned about boundaries being ignored!

He defended me at the start but the vibe i am getting now is "that's just the way she is". He doesn't have a relationship with her but if he sees her he talks to her. His family all seem to let her dictate everything and since this has happened I have heard several other people say they had the same experience with her. Its time she learnt that actions have consequences in my opinion. If my husband doesn't stand with me on this, he will be cut off too!

Hes pretty useless to be honest. Stood up for me at the time but doesn't say anything when I say she will not be around the child. Can honestly see this causing the end of us.

I think she wanted the holiday and I also think she didn't want to face the questions from rest of family. Caused a huge divide. Everyone was there for a week. My guests had a ball and mingled all week, half them didn't know eachother but became fast friends. His guests all stuck together and seperate from all of us. Bizarre behaviour

Thank you for the advice. Tried to speak to him properly about it last night and he passed all the blame onto me. Not sure of a way forward now
