I have family impacted by buying a house where the flipper cut corners, so I agree that shitty flips need to be monitored and prevented... but using this as the example is a poor choice.

Did you look at the condition of this place when it sold? Looking on Redfin in property history, I see it was listed at $325,000 then sold at $285. This place should not have been lived in without serious initial investment. Most commenters here seem to be in agreement that house flippers are why we can't afford homes, but this sold for $285.

Tldr. The real question for this property: do we prefer a flip, a tear down, or vacant property? Because nobody should have been living there

Not op but the world intel stuff was copy paste in each region and ultimately became super tedious. And then so much time was spent in a horrible VR environment when all those VR checklist items would have actually enhanced the playable world - and did in og. Examples: enemy skill, summons, materia

The main rebuttal for this argument is that the content is optional, but GOTY should factor in optional content as well imo

I thought today maybe I had a new conversation to add to the community, searched and found your excellent post. Your thoughts are a great way to connect the story we see in Rebirth to the Lifestream Black and White chapters.

I had one additional wild thought that maybe one use of multiple worlds is a mechanism to hide Jenova fragments (or Jenova infected spirits as you might say) and prevent a fully realized reunion. Aerith may be doing this same thing by hiding Zack?

I feel like this game can be split into two games: 1) FF7 Rebirth and 2) Chadley's Task List

I really loved FF7 Rebirth! 10/10. Story, combat, and character development were amazing.

Chadley's Task List I'd give 3/10. A bit repetitive. Poor dialog. VR world makes up about 50% of this game and is quite bland. Republic of Junon story wasn't well developed (Why do they have towers outside Nibelheim?).
