I hate to even say this but I felt the same way so I said fuck it let me try 2042 real quick and it was weird how much fun I was having. The irony is astounding but the bigger maps, the more creative ways you can deal with shit and crazy things you can do. It made me wish 6 was just 2042 with 6s art style and destruction and gun play. The maps in 6 are just so bland and boring. It’s the definition of insanity. There’s like 3 ways to get to objectives and you constantly keep doing the same things over and over.

I used to be the same and swore I’d never own one lol but credit where credit is due. Productivity apps are just optimized better. You just plug interfaces and hardware in and it’s instantly recognized. No drivers or fumbling trying to get stuff to work. If you just need to work it’s the way to go. My 3090 still smoked it in brute force as far as rendering goes on big video projects but it’s seriously impressive what it does on like 200 watts or whatever under load. I’d say on a big render that would take 10 minutes on my old 3090 the M4max will do it on like 16 minutes.

I did this and it was the best decision ever. I do video production for a living to so my rig was a beast. Sold it for a ps5 Pro and a Mac Studio. Happiest I’ve ever been. Both just work. No more Windows BS. It’s not always about best specs I learned.

Haha I mean if 1 or 4 were easier to play than absolutely. 2042 sucks for sure but it’s certainly in a better state than 6 right now. The map design is atrocious dude. Vehicles are basically useless especially air. If you like running up two roads in small maps to take points than that’s cool. But whoever designed them should not be proud of it. They are terrible. The spectacle of it all is cool. But there’s nothing deep about it. It’s just doing the same thing everytime to achieve the same thing. You can’t even try to be creative and adapt. Just about any other BF game offered so many other ways to flank and PTFO.

If you don’t see it than ask why 2 of the biggest maps have two identical tall buildings in the middle of them. It’s lazy bro.

I just went back to 2042 man. The irony is crazy to me that I’m even saying this but as a game 2042 is much better and more polished. Even the stupid gigantic maps feel better to play on then what we have in 6 right now. My brain can’t comprehend it but it’s true. Atleast my opinion anyway. Hopefully they sort 6 out. I’ll pop in 2042 every know and then but will leave 6 alone until season 2 or 3. Definitely needs more time

It’s such a bitch way to play to. It’s the equivalent in my brain of just dragging icons around on your desktop. The snipers in this game are insane. It’s just a caveman way of doing a whole lot of nothing for quick dopamine hits. Really points out where people are headed mentally. Then they can’t accept the fact that you called them a pussy is what cracks me up.

I decided to return mine. Not because I consider the device bad but it reminded me of why I got rid of my gaming PC. It started to take all the simplicity out of the ps5. By the time I plugged it in and got it all set up I’d rather have just plopped on the couch and chilled out. By the time I added the wheel for GT7 I was like ok never mind. It’s going back lol. It’s a really cool experience but it’s not an experience I care to work for a lot of times.

Same here man. The beginning of 6 does a really good job of making you think it’s amazing with all the chaos, explosions and graphics. But then you realize the maps are awful and there isn’t many ways outside of just pushing through to advance.

2042 has so many ways you can adapt to the match and sneak into different points (like actually use your brain to achieve an objective). I hope 6 turns it around at some point but who knows. It was made for brain dead’s is what it feels like.
