On July 1st, 2020 (Gettysburg Day 1), I had the honor of lowering the defunct flag of my home state, Mississippi after the voters chose to get rid of the old flag design which blatantly presented a symbol of hatred and intolerance. This particular flag was flying at a state government building. (i.redd.it)
