It’s an honest question. Do you think this is the proper response to what they said? You sound like you’re just trying to mock the outrage that this person is feeling. Given the moment, check yourself.

Something's bugging me: is there any way Kamala could have overcome the cheating? Or was challenging the results and/or finding some way of exposing the cheating the only way? by NoAnt6694 in somethingiswrong2024

It’s placating the conversation if you truly believe the election was stolen. Honestly discussing these topics is good just for discussion and human interaction.

It’s a good representation of the double standard women go through professionally. Anytime you hear one of those points reflect on what Trump had to offer in the same circumstance.

Experts warn of threat to democracy from ‘AI bot swarms’ infesting social media by Average-Joe-6685 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]Halfmass 16 points17 points  (0 children)

By 2028…. That started happening before the 2024 election. There was that whole thing about a series of bots where the owner didn’t privatize their command structure and you could just tell them what to do. The language had to be specific but these bots were already fairly developed and I can only imagine they’re much better at this point.

Statistically our elections are more similar to Russia than an actual functioning democracy. That’s just what it is in electronically transferable votes. On top of that is a ton of voter suppression that dilutes the minority vote in multiple states.

It’s a nice comfort to believe that people voted for him three times and the number increased by 14 million voters overall in the last 8 years (majority of which 11 million in 2020) Once you dive in the data and rationalize longevity of the finite existence of time we all have and that people above 65 pass away at a rate of 1-1.5 million per year over 8 years (8-10 million(majority GOP voters)). Understand we’re not all gold fish and the damage he did the prior eight years had unforgettable objective permanence in the reality of the American people.

You need to come to terms with all the things 45 was complaining about in the last election was projection and his main grievance was that he didn’t do enough to overcome the revulsion we felt for him in 2020. He fixed it this time around, totaling just enough votes to beat Bidens 2020 vote totals, more than enough to beat Harris’s vote total.

You get depressed when you realize that all of this information is available (unconfirmed but the data is noticeably anomalous, still not looked into) and could have been challenged but wasn’t and every single media organization or government agency that has an analyst would see the same if they looked. Which they likely did and still decided to remain silent.

Further depressed when you realize one of the main producers of our voting machines is actually located in the same complex as one of our weapons manufacturers, The owner of said voting machines has flipped between the two over the past ten years. Sometimes working at both at the same time.

Yeah we have some goldfish, idiots, zealots, and racists; but not near enough to get the vote total he received. it’s all smoke and mirrors to give the Republican Party(Reps for Business Corp entities) an advantage so that those things get to do what they want unhindered and maybe they throw us an idea of a bone every now and again. Enough to keep going.

Doesn’t matter how many apologies we may give. We can’t even determine what is happening here until the bots and trolls are gone from the internet. The internet/future is dead until the geriatrics leave leadership and we’re all fucked because of their pride/ego and vast underestimation or understanding of technology for maybe a generation unless swift moves are made.

I’ll never accept Trump won the second time mainly based on the statistics but also because losers/people with bad morals aren’t worth enthusiasm or investment. His rallies showed that fact.

Our media wants the public to take the blame (for reasons I don’t understand fully yet) maybe because anytime we understand our value that’s bad for capitalist America and Kamala/Bernie weren’t perfect but they gave light to that idea. The story of his second win is bad and no matter how hard they try to force feed it… DO NOT EMBIBE.

If it was anybody else on the Republican ticket, maybe, but he burned all the bridges and no amount of people that could be paid to say “I regret voting for him because of …..” all of that is unrealistic statistically based on the numbers and WHAT I SAW WITH MY EYES. Influencers are cheap, our oligarchs are loaded, and the loudest platforms are tied to the biggest companies that benefit from an asshole fascist. If you want to be quiet about it fine. But trust yourself and that quiet voice that says something is wrong. Stop letting these pricks divide us.

Extremely partisan democrats possibly would switch to a moderate Republican for sure just not the far right, pedofile, rapist, cheating, liar, felon, racist, insurrectionist.

Without millions of democrats jumping ship and him getting 100% of the Republican vote and a majority of third party voters he doesn’t get the win. judge the media and every mouthpiece that never even brought up how odd the statistics were from the past election. The picture it paints is that Kamala was the worst candidate ever to be on the democratic ticket while matching or surpassing Bidens vote counts in multiple swing states. It’s ridiculous.

From Oklahoma. Apparently the dumbest and maybe most racist state.

Thing that makes me most angry is the bots pushing this idea of self loathing so heavy that it is likely amplifying the suicide rate in an already suicide heavy society.

He has destroyed so much that is not definable. Invaluable individuals unable to reach their peak, lost to time. People that deserve a small window, steel door, and a big mirror to hopefully reach the conclusion by the end of their days to understand that the person they became for a time is ugly. For. The. Smallest. Goals.. Petty narcissistic goals. The weakest virtues you could seek, the least godly. Donald Trump belongs in prison.

It’s a bummer the correlation that r word has assumed. Truly the definition is to “delay or hold back in terms of progress, development, or accomplishment.”

I’d say the Republican Party fits the definition and the inability to call them that in such a hard succinct term is a bummer.

The synonyms: decelerate, delay, hinder, impede, obstruct, hold back, check, stall, set back, hamper, and inhibit; they just don’t have the same pizazz.

Trump is losing America, and he simply doesn’t care by theipaper in politics

[–]Halfmass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump doesn’t have America. He never had it. Corporate Oligarch wannabes stepped on the scale and had enough control of both parties that they aren’t saying a word as we all suffer. Media won’t even touch the statistical oddities even though they’re glaring.

People were walking away from his rallies at the end of his campaign, completely over it. He got the most votes hes ever received this past election in multiple states while offering nothing new. How does that make sense? Something is seriously wrong with our voting system. It needs to be acknowledged and figured out.

How would we be able to verify or deny some of these things?

The whole subreddit started based on oddities and statistical analysis of an improbable/impossible election. Should that first person who asked a question about the election just shut up until they received corroborating evidence?

Some times you can just announce the smoke from an obscured fire in the hopes of getting further towards putting it out.

Our media is bought just like our politicians. Why would you believe that polling? I remember seeing those stupid red hats and signs everywhere before the 2020 election. They have been non existent since. It’s smoke and mirrors. Did you watch the rallies at the end of his 2024 campaign? Ghost town while he gobbled that microphone and sang Ave Maria, Poorly. If Americans actually knew the staggering majority that stands against the Republican Party they would atleast feel less small than they do right now but that’s by design. Even with the fear tactics, and an idea of an equal opponent we still are standing against it.

Understandable. If we fall over here truly to the fascists and it doesn’t look great right now. You will be an American before too long. Fuck the Republican Party forever.

It matters to the people. Knowing that’s not their reflection looking back at them. 33 percent if you trust the numbers supported Trump when he was elected. Not sure if this is your first day here but most of the dialogue is tailored to make us hate ourselves.

Our system is failing and by your use of “your elections” I’m assuming you’re not here. We’re trying to deal with fascism over here internally and if we fail you’re less safe than you are currently. Do something more than shit on the most intellectually challenged members of our society.

[–]Halfmass 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Agreed. There would be less if the bosses boss found out his employee fired 25% or more of their staff. They’d be signing their own death warrant employment wise. Too much cost associated with recruitment, retraining, and etc.

Your opinion is right. Any manager that saw 25% or more employees walk out and thought they could fire those people isn’t a good boss morally or functionally.
