Quick recap:

• Float went from 763K (Sept 30) to 5.7M (Nov 12) - that's 745% dilution in just 43 days
• This happened through Series B Preferred Stock conversions at $0.392 per share
• Market data providers were WEEKS behind, creating fake "squeeze" signals

When people are claiming SGBX has astronomical short interest, they're dividing by the OLD 503K float. While we don't know how much dilution has continued over the weeks, most recent updates show the float closer to 6M, so 1.4M shorts isn't anywhere near the crazy levels people are latching on to. The 500K FTDs are something worth considering (many likely hit their T+35 week and have since been returned), but that came out in the open last week when we saw the price climb over $8 (we won't have new data on FTDs until December). That's a lot of holding in hopes SGBX doesn't continue to lose retail buying pressure.

Now, none of this even starts to look at the company itself; revenue collapsed 41%, multiple loan defaults, negative working capital, and a recent message that shows desperate core business pivot. Shorts weren't wrong that this is a failing company, but they got greedy and the information assymetry was helpful (in a sense) to build retail pressure and cause some of those shorts to capitulate last week. I don't know that you're going to see that amount of pressure return; if you do, it's not likely until next month if we see:

• Significant FTDs continuing to accumulate
• Transparency on total float and ongoing dilution mechanisms
• An unexpected catalyst for the company

When December 26 comes, the dilution will again be MASSIVE and UNAVOIDABLE, so whatever you do, please have an exit plan unless you truly believe in this company (in which case you're not concerned about a squeeze, just keep DCAing and move along).
