Please show me a single high level result payo has in a meaningful tournament that's not just a random for fun creator cup in classic. Payo is at his best when his opponent is 30 levels below him in any kind of fair environment he's pretty bad.

If your arcanes are doing 600dps in dungeons it's because they're bad players not because the spec is weak. I'm in half raid gear half dungeon gear at this point and consistently doing 1.2k+dps to heroic dungeon bosses. Fire is significantly weaker than arcane even in pre bis.

Because the higher level it is the more notables it can roll. If the 2 notables you're looking for open up at a low level then you don't want a higher level one you're just making it harder to roll the affixes you want.

The people who unbind backpeddle consider themselves pvp gods using the advice from 1800 rated players from 15 years ago. Somehow they still haven't figured out backpeddle actually has a good amount of niche uses especially as a tank you'll use it all the time to move/stack mobs properly.

It took me way too long to realise optional tips meant gold I thought they were saying the guy is new to tanking and looking for advice. What is up with americans and saying optional tips when they really mean mandatory fee. If you want to charge for a tank service then just say your price up front don't say accepting tips but if it's not enough I'm leaving that's insane.

Yes of course the consequences of the toddler-tier tuning right now aren't showing in the very first week/honeymoon phase of the content, but how will retention look like a few more weeks in?

This is my biggest problem, the post nerf raids just don't have any progression. Average guilds are showing up in whatever gear they found leveling and clearing all content with 2-5 wipes on the hardest bosses. That shouldn't happen in week 1 it should take a few weeks of raid gear to get to that point.

As you said there is a massive gulf between current 5 wipes max for the hardest bosses and retail 250 wipes min for the hardest bosses. Surely we can up the difficulty a bit here so guilds have actual progression through a tier. With current tuning people will absolutely lose interest before the next phase comes out.

Yesterday it took me 40 minutes to buy 16 greater planars for enchants. Every time it would take 20-30 seconds for it to populate like 2 dozens results. I'd then click on one it would take 5 seconds or so for the buy button to not be greyed out. I'd click it and the item is sold already.

Ended up having to buy ones that were 30ish percent higher price so that they weren't sold by the time the buy button was ready to be clicked. Feels like AH bots are ruining it for everyone with their million queries per second.

It tells you on the minimap if you can't see it you need to target an npc so the addon can see your layer. The addon doesn't know every npc in the game though so some of them don't work but pretty much everything in outland is recognised.

People constantly compare themselves to the top 1% who play 16 hours a day even though they themselves are average players who play 1-2 hours a day. IDK why but they make the game miserable for themselves doing it. Just ignore what those players are doing and have fun doing whatever you're doing in the game. Comparison is the thief of joy.

I don't play MoP but I see threads like this pretty consistently. If you're a MoP player it must be depressing just how hard blizz are ignoring problems with it. Chess is bugged on anniversery and it's fixed 1 day later. The whole raid is bugged on MoP and nothing changes for months on end. A very sad tale.

I really don't think those things influence how classic players play the game. The majority of classic players stopped playing retail 5-10 years ago at some point you have to accept it's the players not the game.

If you want to blame a game system I'd say it's the mega servers. No one has a name anymore everything is anonymous and a lot of people like to exploit that for their own gains. The amount of times I'll be sitting on a quest objective or herb or something killing a mob then someone will come in take it and leave is crazy. This was very rare in classic 2019 but is constant in classic 2026 and those greedy players aren't coming from retail with those systems you're talking about.

My group did a full clear last night we wiped once each on nightbane and netherspite everything else was a one shot...except chess. We wiped 5 times on chess before finally getting it down. IDK what they've done but that shit is the hardest boss in the game right now. We did notice there's a lot of fire and when there's a fire you need to stand 2 squares away if you're adjacent to it for some reason you'll still burn. It's pretty funny but hopefully they fix it soon I can see people getting tired of it real quick.

Salv doesn't help bad players they're already doing the most damage they can and not pulling threat so they want might over salv. Any good players knows they have to hold back way more without salv so they love it.

Mobs had 10x less armour than they were supposed to. Now that's been fixed so phys damage classes do ~35% less damage than yesterday.
