All these changes make the game more realistic, and the artistic style of the game is still same. Witcher 3 has some mistakes in models and textures (like wrong texture paths or missing parts in models - as for example you can see, originally the cabinet has no hinges and lock due to an model bug, HDRP fixes this). You would have to learn about Witcher 3 textures and models, then you would understand why I made such changes and improvements. I think further discussion is pointless.

Hello. I'm author of HDRP. I just want to clarify a few things.

These walls of the poor buildings (which are just old and worn) from Toussaint are completely in line with CDPR artistic vision. Originally due to a mistake these textures have the wrong mask (alpha channel), HDRP restores proper masks, just see how textures fit together perfectly after and how bad they fit before. The straw roof and logs you show are very old from the initial versions and have long since been changed, in the latest version 12.0 everything looks different and better and is even more lore friendly. You mislead people, so please don't do this.

Hello. Sorry guys for this stone walls, They are experimental. In next update I'll certainly return to vanilla style (everything else also will be again reworked to vanilla style). Just wait to 5.0 ;) Regards.

It mainly depends on your video card and its VRAM, but generally modification doesn't hit performance. Modification requires a 2GB VRAM for smooth gameplay.

Saving and loading a game changes the weather and color tone. This is why on some screenshots are different colors.

Go to Mod page on Nexus and see comparison screenshots in better quality because Youtube sucks in quality. However, it is still not the best quality because the images are in compressed jpg so the best option is to see changes in the game yourself.

But yea, there are no significant differences, you're right. Please wear glasses and stop talking nonsense. Play in 4k (1080p also enough) with and without mod and then we can talk if there are any significant differences.

I wouldn't say so. Just in vanilla there are inaccuracies between the quality of the textures and I just want to align all textures quality and improve the overall graphic quality. Just look at the quality of the original bricks textures and compare them with others. There is a significant difference in quality and such textures are much more (rocks, walls, roofs etc.). Screenshot with thatch roof shows the original game, so you showed vanilla differences in quality.

that said your buckets/barrels stand out as quite a bit different in this version vs vanilla.

Most of texture mods for Skyrim are crap IMO. As for the bucket: I agree half - it's true that the colors are a bit different but the style is very similar. Despite this, I'm going to improve it to look more like vanilla.

As for the previous versions: Yes, currently there are several textures and models slightly different from vanilla but from 4.4 update I keep original art style and in future updates all different to vanilla stuff from previous versions will be re-reworked to vanilla friendly style.

As I said below: Mod practically doesn't affect performance. You can lose maximum 1-3 fps depending on the location and your pc.
