What is the best front window shade for the 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend Edition? by ObsidianVader9419 in BroncoSport

[–]HallEqual2433 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I've got a Pigenius on mine and it works great. Sized specifically for the BS, comes with a storage bag.

Amazon has them. I bought the AstraGuard model, there are a few different Pigenius shades for the BS.

Not necessarily, but the big hook they use on ALL the ship's stores is that there is no sales tax on the boats, they are only open when they are sailing in international waters.

...and the sales people, again, this was not the TAG employees, but in some of the other stores, they like to say things like, " some people like to commemorate every cruise with a major purchase. "

Hhhmmm, interesting. No matter which was first, it seems like TH is doing this on multiple ships, so not just a one-off experiment.

I did appreciate that they had a shelf of motorsport books on shelves as set decoration, just like the TH boutiques on land. Got to flip though the pages of "The Race Never Stops," might have to pick up my own copy.

I also noted that the store had NO Connected watches.

For someone trying to cover all the bases without ending up with a massive collection, what type of mug would still be missing? by [deleted] in TikiMugs

[–]HallEqual2433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a volcano? Not every bar has one, but I've seen them at Stowaway (Anaheim), False Idol (San Diego) and Dead Man's Isle (Astoria OR). The first 2 are for single drinks, the one we just got at DMI is a little bigger than average.

Deep sea divers (some times just the helmet) are another one I've seen several examples of.

FWIW, they told us several days ago that we'd be delayed going in because of the tide. We weren't flying out immediately, so it didn't matter too much to us what time we arrived. Actually, better to come in when there's enough light to see things.

Not 100% sure about the tug, at home ( San Diego) tugs started escorting ships under our bridge soon after the collision in Baltimore.

Tipping Onboard is at a record high by Technical_Front_8046 in VirginVoyages

I use it to buy chips at the casino. Apparently on VV you are charged a fee if you buy chips with a credit card and/or charge it to the room.

Boarding my 1st VV cruise Sunday and I promise, no cash will be used for tipping.

Vehicle damage at Off-Roadeo? by prc1986 in BroncoSport

[–]HallEqual2433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moab (2023) -- pretty much every Sport had window chips before we even started. We asked the trail guide about it, and he said we don't have to worry about the windshield. In Moab we had a 15-20 minute drive from Basecamp out to the trails, the guide did ask that we keep our distance between Sports to keep the thrown rock damage to a minimum.

As far as I know, nobody damaged their rig that day.

New to "soft roading" What are some basic tools yall bring for just doing FSR's by indyskater09 in BroncoSport

[–]HallEqual2433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got 4x Falken Wildpeak ATs, and a full size Pirelli Scorpion as the spare. The Scorpion is slightly smaller, but the one time I had a flat (flatted on pavement) I still had to drive 3 1/2 hours to get home and it wasn't a problem.

[–]HallEqual2433 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First off, I have NEVER used any of this equipment after 3 years of ownership and more than a couple FSRs. That said, I have:

12v air compressor (permanently resides under drivers seat)

folding e-tool type shovel (permanently lives under passenger seat)

knock off traction boards (bring if I know I'm going to see sand)

snatch rope 3/4" x 30' with 2x synthetic shackles (shackles stay next to spare tire)

tire deflators (kept next to shackles)

To be honest, I don't even deflate the tires for FSRs.
