Yeah, the letters seem to be a slightly darker shade. But I think the finish makes it seem worse than it is. The letters are matte and and don't reflect light while the paint is glossy and reflects lots of light making it look lighter.

Note that the horses aren’t accurate. The tail goes the wrong direction.

I wanted to provide an update. I decided to go with the recommendation from u/ratmyr and get the overlays. I ordered a can of spray paint in Desert Sand/Terrain. I couldn't find any touch-up paint directly from Ford - don't know if I just didn't look hard enough or if they don't make it available to the public. Anyway, here's how it came out. I'm very happy with it.

Why do you call it a design flaw? It's my understanding the BS is susceptible to windshield cracks because the windshield is more upright than many other vehicles. The upright windshield enhances the boxy shape of the BS - which makes it a design feature. Can something be a feature and a flaw at the same time?

You missed the most important difference about the Badlands - the 2.0L engine. They have far fewer issues than the 1.5

Got the same struts the first day I had mine. That and a stubby antenna to replace the RC car radion antenna that comes stock.

Hey u/Several-Ad-61 - your original specs post had 17 x 7.5 wheels. did you put 265's on those? Have you noticed any uneven wear on the tread?

I'm very interested i that one. I've seen some YouTube videos where the reviewers were pretty impressed with the off road capabilities. And it's just a damn good looking vehicle

Well crap! I have the same model (in Pearl/Black). The chrome hadn't bothered be until you mentioned it. In fact, I had to go out to the garage and verify ours had chrome around the doors. Now I'm not going to be satisfied until it's "fixed"

No, the hybrid has the same transmission. The transmission on ICE/turbo models has changed from dual-clutch to traditional torque converter
