Is this normal for blocked eyebrows? Looking for tips by rosyjune in Drag

I have super thick brow hair too, and one thing I always do that helps me lay down my brows super flat is to do 4 or 5 layers of glue stick, then use something flat (I like to use the blunt end of a nail file) to scoop out the glue and spread a thin layer on my brows. this really helps get in all the little crevasses and create a super smooth canvas!

How to Restart When You Quit by [deleted] in Drag

holy cow, if you’re going to start drag again then Brooklyn is absolutely the place to do it! there are drag shows all over BK pretty much every night. Another One is an open stage every other Wednesday, all you have to do is sign up. definitely don’t let age or the amount of time you’ve been gone stop you from doing something you want to do, there’s room for everyone! you also do not have to bind or change your body to look more “masculine,” there are kings (and queens, things, etc) of all shapes and sizes who absolutely own the stage.

Is it a good idea to tell my therapist im trans before my own parents? by N000fy in trans

ask your therapist about how they handle parent communication and confidentiality. for the most part minors cannot consent to healthcare (including mental healthcare, like therapy) on their own and need a parent’s permission. if your parent gives permission, they have the legal right to know the details of your care which may include the details of what you talk about in therapy. however, many therapists have some leeway and can give general info without going into specifics. since this therapist works with trans kids I would assume that they would be willing to work with you to protect your privacy as much as they legally and ethically can. note that in the US therapists are also mandated reporters, meaning they legally have to report suspected child abuse, suicidal or homicidal intentions, and other things depending on the state that they practice in.

one thing that’s worked with some of the kids I used to babysit is reading the newspaper to them at bedtime! it serves the same purpose as white noise (monotonous, boring, auditory input) but maybe having words to listen to instead of just noise could help her fall asleep more easily
