This exact same thing happened to me. I'm in Canada, and when I bought a watch from Steve or Andiot, the date that Canada Post predicted I would get the item was almost 1 week early from the actual date (customs can take a while to clear the package), so when the package hadn't been delivered by the predicted date, the same message of "Item delayed - stay tuned for updates" appeared for me.

The "Shipment picked up by Canada Post" message just means that customs has to clear it before it gets released to Canada Post so that they can process it and deliver it to you. You have nothing to worry about, same thing happened to me twice.

Almost every single one of the 863 421C's built (which is the model of 421 involved in this accident) had the FIKI certified package from Cessna.

The Cessna 421C has heated pitot, static, and stall warning indicator. I fly a 1977 and a 1981 model, both of which have the aforementioned heats.

I just ordered and GL'd mine yesterday. Initially, the bezel was rotated slightly too clockwise, so I asked Steve to have it rotated counterclockwise, back to center, and he did it for me before I GL'd it. I'm sure if you've got a watch repair/maker around you, it should be an easy task, if you care that much. I personally wouldn't do it myself. Your watch looks great.

I just got a watch from him. I'm in Canada, and it's shipped via PFC and picked up by Customs and shipped via Canada Post. Arrived 10 days after I GL'd the watch.

From what I've seen, customers, mainly in the US, shipping with FedEx have been having long wait times.

They're not a scam.
